Season 3 will be brilliant.

Book 3 is so eventful and long that it will be split into Season 3 and 4, with an evident climax in between them. The end to Season 3 should be the biggest event so far in the show. Can't wait to see how it plays out.

Ya there is no way she is going to give up a dragon...for real.

The 3rd season has been a lot slower than I would have thought...but with this show one can only think it is because they are building it up to all come crashing down.

Dialoge between the Lanister family, particularly anything with the midget, is pure brillance. I love this show.

The midget makes the show for me. His dialogue parts are 70% of what excites me. I wanna be him.

Trust me man, if you were to read the book it starts off slooooow and then it just accelerates so quickly. And when you think you can't take anymore in terms of crazy events and twists, another one hits. Its absolutely nuts. The writing in this book is by far one of the best out there.

Anyone else care to hype the plot up with me?

I hope I can excite some people about what is to come. I wish I could erase what I know so I could relive it again.

aye the kingslayer without his sword is no slayer.

Wonder what hottie Danerys is upto with those slavers, she's traded a dragon, but I reckon she's just gonna burn the city with her dragons as the soldiers are now under her command
Seemed like they pushed that idea pretty hard. The ruler is retarded for giving Her every soldier in his city to her for a dragon which his her own flesh and blood.

Plus she has that English speaking chick with the nice tits to feed her info and knows the soldiers will listen to any command. And she also hates the rulers of the city for what they do to their people.

The books are all long meandering lay-ups, followed fast-paced intense bursts of action.

Like a Tarantino movie.

I just watched Ep 2 of the current season, and the amount of fat-shaming pleased me greatly.

Lanister midget and Lanister father are awesome characters, probably stars of the show.

The 'posh' English accent of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is absolutely amazing. I mean, he's speaking in a language that is foreign, admittedly he has learned it all through school as all Danish people do, but nevertheless it's pretty remarkable that his accent would be absolutely inscrutable if it wasn't common knowledge that he isn't British.

I've noticed more than one Scandinavian actor/actress with the ability to speak in flawless English and blend in seamlessly for their roles. The blonde vampire from True Blood (Alexander Skarsgard) does an American accent that is also remarkable. I saw him in Generation Kill playing an American marine and frankly had no idea he was a foreigner until I checked the shows credits on IMDB. He just sounded like an ordinary American to me.

Anyone repulsed by the betatude put out by Stannis on the shore with his Fire queen? And he wants to be king.

Anyone watch Game of Thrones? - WesternCancer - 04-16-2013

Stannis has a serious case of oneitis.

This is the one major character that has been changed the most and worst from the book. Book-Stannis is more badass although stubborn to a fault. I suspect they changed him because in the book he becomes the pretender to the throne that seem the fairest. While the TV series wants to hold up Dany and Robb as the only considerable choices. that's TV for you I guess.

If I was married to this woman, you can bet I'd jump on Lady Melissandre in a heartbeat, just to sate the immense thirst.

Of course, that's no reason to be Beta with your lover.

I'd call it a severe case of oneitis. If he wants to fuck her and impregnate her I don't understand why by Jupiter he does not thrust cock into pussy.

He only wants the magical shadow assassin impregnation. It involves some kind of ritual.

What happened to Stannis' first son, the one who killed Renley? Or is that a spoiler..

You mean that shadow thing?

Anyone watch Game of Thrones? - Handsome Creepy Eel - 04-17-2013

I don't think it can really be called a "son". It's not an actual person, just some of Stannis's lifeforce used to cast a spell with Melissandre's dark magic. I assume it's like a summoning spell that goes away on its own after doing what you want. But maybe that's not the last we've seen of it.

Think that was dark magic and not an actual son, I mean she was heavily pregnant within days it seemed, he has a daughter who is his heiress.

Why would the Unsullied fight for Daenerys after she freed them?

He's just putting that on to endear himself to the American audience.

Check him out doing the same with the Brits:

I get the feeling he feels more natural with the English accent and has to make an effort with the American one though.

Either way, brilliant chameleon. I wonder if he now regrets Banging Denmark with all his international fame.
