Giving up porn in order to lower your standards is like giving up nice expensive food, so you can save money by settling for shitty cheap food.

Elderly women who go grocery shopping should leave the old farts at home.

All these guys do is block the aisles.

Speaking of kids...

Childbirth is the one of the most horrifying things I've ever seen.

They made us watch a childbirth video in a biology class. Seeing a human face pop out of some chick's snatch gave me some serious mental scars. A decade later I get a little queasy thinking about it.

Ive read in primitive cultures, the women simply do it kneeling on the Ground, with legs apart (as opposed to laying in a Bed).

The effect of Gravity makes the whole process 10x easier, minimal crying from the baby.

(Non-obese) American girls are swell. They are certainly not perfect or the best but personality-wise I prefer them over many other nationalities.

All this "False rape accusation"-hysteria in the manosphere is vastly exaggerated. I'm not saying it's not a problem. In fact, it is an egregious slap in the face for both the wrongly accused and for actual rape victims. But in the grand scheme of things, the fact that thousands of real rapists usually get away with their deeds is a much more serious issue than the odd few bitches blaming men for forced sex that never happened.

Very controversial opinion, but:

Dash Global was the forum's authority on South Korea. As someone who has lived in a third-tier Korean city for seven months, I can 100% vouch for the accuracy of that thread. It's genuinely still my favourite thread on RVF.

I'm very annoyed he had to fuck it all up by starting so many pissing matches and posting so many crap datasheets on places he'd never been to haha :-P.

If I choose to have a child with a woman, its going to have to be a white woman (im white) this is for the simple reason that I want my kids to actually look like me and my family in general.
Its also because when there is one white parent and one non white parent the child always seems to be referred to the non white parents ethnicity look at Barack Obama hes called the first "black" president when he is half white and I think raised solely by his white mother (correct me if im wrong)

When I was 5, I told my teacher that Santa Claus does not exist. I still stand by my words.

My attitude towards religion in general is pretty similar. Some religious beliefs and traditions are interesting and even beneficial to society, but it is all fiction as far as I am concerned.

In his famous monologue about religion, the late George Carlin said it better than I ever could.

Never confirm. Its a sign of desperation. Please Please Please are you still available ma'am?? hahaha. She will never respect you, and this is the start.

Talking during dates only gets you in trouble and lowers her interest in you. The more you talk, the more she is bored, and as we all know, she really doesn't care anyway. Hold back with the words at all times. Raising your value by talking about yourself if the lowest possible value you can generate.

Let her "discover" things about you, on her own, unless she drags it out of you. Dont answer her directly when she asks pointed directed questions about you. Dont tell her you make all kinds of money, have an interesting past, can play an instrument, go on lots of dates, etc. Drop it as innocuous bait, and let her drag information out of you, better yet she find things out about you elsewhere. This is about building attraction over time, not snls, which is under-represented here except for the basics like staying fit, dressing well and how to hunt.

I want women to fall in love with me, after I vet them and decide they are ok to be in my life. I want to have positive relationships built on trust and fun. I want women to try to win me over, this is my motivation. I want to have as many options as possible if I decide someday again to LTR.

Talking about sex too quickly turns women off. And if it doesn't it raises your value in her eyes because you seem less needy with less ulterior motives. When she talks about sex too early I shut down and lose all interest.

Try to stay out of your home. Go to her place, for everything. Dont hang out at your place at all. This is for purely legal reasons, you open yourself up to WAY more legal ramifications when you let someone into your place than vice versa. Opening yourself up legal troubles is not a way to become Alpha, or is it?

Things like the "Four Hour Workweek" can potentially damage promising careers and waste expensive educations. Name me 50 people who became millionaires out of that book, out of the millions who have read it.

There, I am done, on to 2014!

I don't like 'The Four Hour Workweek' either.

The new book by the cartoonist Scott Adams has a more interesting and useful strategy for being successful.

Plus it is written by a multi-millionaire who actually used the strategies laid out in the book to achieve his success.

There is a good (hour long) interview with Scott Adams discussing his new book here:

Card, how many books do you read in a year? I will come in at 20, and I feel like I am way behind.

I buy alot of books each year.

Some I store away to tackle when I am in the mood.

Some I start and then throw away. I don't waste time with a book I am not enjoying.

Some I start and decided to finish at a later date (when I feel the mood return for that particular topic).

So - I work on alot of books each year. But in terms of books that I actually start and then finish. It is about 100 books a year.

I was just discussing all this the other day on this thread:

damn, thats impressive! I notice if I am reading a book I dont like I procrastinate on it, then weeks go by and a book I should have finished in a few days takes many weeks.

It is a weird one. I have had books I was really enjoying. That I decide to put down to start a more 'difficult' book - with the idea that I have an enjoyable book waiting to be finished soon afterwards.

But sometimes - you return to that book you were looking forward to. And you find your mood has changed and it is no longer as compelling as it was before.

I was reading a brilliant book about The Holocaust called 'The Lampshade' - I put it down, came back to it a couple of weeks later - and couldn't engage with the book in the same way.

Shame. And a bit weird.

I am a momentum reader. I like to concentrate on the book which most grabs me on any particular day. Which sucks when it comes to philosophy since the mood for philosophy only grabs me about once a month.

I opened a parcel today which has a philosophy book I ordered a month ago - and I was like 'Why did I order this again?'

Cardguy

PS I want to encourage people to read the new Scott Adams book. I think it is a really interesting and useful book.

If you are interested I write a bit more about it here:

I agree with you guys that Ferris shouldn't be read for business advice. However, I consider him to be an expert on the methodology of learning. He and Dave Asprey indirectly introduced me to metacognition, which has not only created a snowball effect on the quantity and the quality of the information I retain these days, but also has given me a deeper understanding of all subjects which has spurred my creativity.

As a free market advocate, I have some sympathy for the Leninist view for the deconstruction of the bourgeoisie who receive government favor. Not at all in a redistributive sense, but in a severing of entitlements and monopoly privilege which in turn would destroy most of those companies who receive it today.

The world would be a much better place if people realized that the way they spend their money is paramount to affecting change. The Occupy movement is a prime example of this. Did anyone else see the hilarity in the people protesting the big banks, then using the ATM's of those very banks to get money to buy shit?

The Occupy movement offered proof of only a few things:

(1) That we do live in a police state.

(2) That if you give people free shit, and then start charging them when you can no longer afford to give it away, they will destroy your business just like they did with millions of dollars of public property.

(3) That people 'true to a cause' in the west are too fucking lazy to switch their bank accounts from the mega-corporations they are protesting against, to a small regional bank or a credit union.

(4) And funniest of all that tuberculosis outbreaks are still possible in the 21st century.

If you were to poll people, 100% would claim that they are 'red pill'(without allowing for the margin of error for the people who like the color blue). Like with the Occupy movement, I see very little clarity in the Red Pill movement. I think the problem is that I have seen a litany of definitions of the term. If it means seeing everything as it really is from an empirical sense, and then improving yourself to the point of maximizing personal benefit, then I have just enough red pill in me to know that I'm still blue pill. I do believe I'm on the right track though.

-About my country - Romania. In the States maybe women don't take care of their bodies. In Romania they don't take care of their personalities, they believe that if they look good they can afford to have any kind of shitty behavior and that they don't need to do anything to improve their personalities
-Many American men wrongly believe that they are good at banging girls because they have the tightest game when in fact it's because the American women are the easiest on Earth. When they go to a conservative EE country, suddenly they can hardly get any ONS. But the men in these difficult environments don't have the option to just leave to the next country, they have to deal with it and get good inspite of the difficulty. Success brings success, it brings more confidence and it's the fact that Americans have banged many easy American women that makes it easy to bang many women elsewhere too. Many people in difficult countries however don't approach much because they are not willing to keep getting stepped all over and aren't getting all the successes to give them the energy and the past ONSs to motivate them.
-American men are taking American women's easiness for granted and think beauty is all that matters. But when you live in a place where there is a lot of beauty but it's hard to get ONSs, you get all the beauty that you want and instead it's the ONSs that matter
-American men don't realize that even though feminism is shitty, it does have 1 quality - it made the women easier to lay, I however live in a slutshaming country and that makes it hard to have ONSs in my town, that's not good either. To brag about the lays you've had with sluts and then slutshame the sluts is ridiculous.
-Western countries - America, UK, Germany etc. have too much political correctness and are going to be invaded by extremist muslims that are gonna fuck things up
-American men regard Eastern Europe from the perspective of the United States, not realizing that not only all EE countries have different cultures, but even the cities in a certain country are different from each other. Getting your "flag" doesn't mean you could've gotten it in any city of that country
-1st world men are taking quality of living for granted and believe that women are all that matters. When you have lived in a shitty country, you care about how the country looks and the money you make as well.

Other unpopular opinions for the brainwashed Westerner

-in the US there is no balance between political correctness and freedom of expression. everything is biased toward the political correctness. there are "free speech" CAGES at rallies, that is absolutely unbelievable
-The way heterosexual sex in public is banned because it is unpleasant for some people, flashy homosexual behavior in public should be banned because it is unpleasant for some people.
-Homosexuals have all the rights in the US, but the rest of the people don't, they don't have the right to freedom of expression. there is no balance, everything is biased toward the good of the minority.
-American people have too easily accepted the fact that their freedom of expression is dead, that in the US you can't express your opinion, that others are telling you what your opinion is and that you can't say anything bad about homosexuals, fat people, women etc.
sure bullying or harrassing wouldn't be ok but you should at least have the right to the opinion you have anyway. not having freedom of expression is Dictatorship.
-Feminists like to accuse people of sexism, but feminism is the most sexist thing, even its name is sexist. The way white pride is considered racist, straight pride is considered homophobic, feminism should be considereed misandry and outlawed as well.
-The American jail penalty for reckless driving when exceeding 20 MPH over the speed limit is ridiculous and stupid, Germany has no speed limit on its highways. Jail penalty for exceeding by 20 MPH yet you can get a bullet in your head at any moment due to the armed population.
-the metric system is much better and much more simple for conversions than the Imperial system. even the Anglosphere scientists are opting for the metric system in science calculations so the Anglosphere should stop being stubborn and switch to the metric system
