One of my co workers was a black guy from the states. He was cool but nothing above average. He pulled pretty well in Oz but it wasn't like he was pulling much above 7s. He WAS pulling way better then he could get at home.

Ignore my advice at your peril Australia is expensive and too many of the girls are fat. Since you have virtually zero exotic factor here, you're better off going somewhere cheaper with better looking women who'll dig you for being an American.

I lived 4 years in Oz (some time ago). You do realize there is more to being exotic then skin color? I am not really interested in going back while there are other countries that I haven't explored.

@Moma - It's the American accent. Girls there love it, so Americans of any race would do well out there. Black American men obviously have an exoticism to them as well.

Just an educated guess here: You have the American accent and you still carry the exoticism of being black. Can't see how it'd make that much of a difference.

Most other parts of the world aren't as in tune with the whole "acting white" or "acting black" phenomenon as Americans are, so you're probably less likely to get that distinction thrown at you. While "acting white" (read: not buying into the black stereotype Americans expect) can actually hurt you with some girls in the USA, it can matter less elsewhere. I've seen this personally in the UK and Canada, I assume Australia would follow the same paradigm.

Yeah, that is the conundrum I think any international brotha faces at some point are another, "Play into a stereotype that doesn't represent who you actually are," or " Simply come polished and be yourself " and perhaps lose some of your exotic appeal. No one can answer that question except you.

For real, i agree. I think datasheets about a particular city is never enough, its always good to hear different perspectives about different players on every place. Plus, people always are going to have different experiences.
