You called a chick fat. You're done.
That was very stupid.

Look at it this way......If you run into her when you are out and about and she isn't working for you, she is an 8/10. But, if she is working for you, or with you, subtract 6-7 points on the attractiveness scale. So, no, she never was an 8/10.

I'm curious...when your wife's boyfriend fucks you in the ass, is it doggy style, or is it missionary and he forces you to look him in the eye?

This is not directed at OP but, management in the service business is notorious for being utterly clueless about the realities of the business, power-hungry and obsessed with the 'bottom line' to the detriment of the well being of staff and even the customers.

Yeah, it did.

And yes, that is partially my fault. Catching up on this thread, I intended to make an up date and came across that utterly useless post. I made a stupid reply and called it a day.

So, now a real update.

It was a stressful week. She and I were due to work together Thursday night. I told the owner that we needed to talk before we both talked to her. We did. Largely, he reiterated his idea that all would be well, with a simple sit down. I hoped he was right, but was not convinced that he was.

As it turned out, he was completely correct. As I told him, I wasn't that worried about the gal in question. She really seemed to have her head on right...what worried me was the rest of the crew and the shit they may (and probably were) saying.

We had our conference and it was quick and easy. She held no grudges. We hugged. Das ende.

Despite that, I thought her attitude may change and of course, for the worse.

Nope.

She immediately went back to the IOIs. Playful hitting, throwing things, etc. At one point, she tried to convince me that she, "Wasn't like other girls" She got an eye-roll and, "Yeah, I've heard that before"

When I cut her that night, she asked me to have a drink with her. That was easy to decline, because I still had work to do. So she finished her beer and then came to talk with me, before she left.

She hugged me and said, "When will I see you again?"

Jesus! I'M ONLY HUMAN!

More to come, indubitably...

You can tell her, that you could go for a date if either one of you quits the job. But until then you have to keep it as professional as possible - if you say it with a smile and smirk, then it won't sound so bad.

That way she may stay friendly because you are a prospective partner in her hamster-mind. Of course chances are that she will forget about it when she is a new relationship, but still - this is better than completely cutting her off or continuing with ambiguous flirting.

Plus you may actually end up smashing it when she leaves for a different job.

Your boss seemingly didn't mind helping you out with this situation, but he probably won't be terribly amused if he ends up sorting things out for you and this (or any other) woman again.

Keep it together and be professional.

This is how I would proceed, as well. She likes you, keep that. Let her masturbate furiously about it and enjoy the spectacle of her falling all over herself trying to figure out why you're too responsible to break down and ruin your life for her. At this point, she's clearly way too emotionally disorganized and will take pride in knowing a man crashed and burned for her, even while she's crying to your boss.

This is now on record. It's the subject of two separate complaints and a meeting. You absolutely cannot have a recurring problem with this woman or you're going to get fucked, and not by her. Your boss likes you. He doesn't like you enough to sit through a deposition for you.

Just taking this opp to point out that the OP didn't actually call the girl fat. She called herself fat, and he simply agreed.

I'm fully aware that sexual harassment suits and situations with women in general don't have to be logical or rational for them to be the victim in the eyes of observers. And OP definitely fucked up with that joke, in a faux pas sort of way.

But in no way shape or form was it sexual harassment, regular harassment, or any other form of harassment. Chick literally called herself fat and OP basically cosigned. Yet if she was more upset (and she still may use it in the future), he probably could have lost his job while she went on her merry way to a payday. Over absolutely nothing.

Because there is nothing more important in this modern cuck world than a sluts "feelings". Christ.

I know that's the way things are. Just blowing steam and lamenting at how fucked it is.

I remember in my first job out of school, I worked with this chick who used to be a nun.

I went to Vegas on vacation, and when I came back a few girls at the job called my work phone pretending to be the police inquiring about "lewd and unlawful" behavior. I played along with it. We all had a good laugh afterward.

So we're all talking and this ex-nun, we'll call her Lisa, is laughing it up. She was actually one of the people who's idea the prank call was. Knowing "Lisa" used to be in a convent, I joke "hey, wouldn't it have been funny if we had somebody prank call Lisa about lewd acts committed?".

She goes ape shit. Says thats sexual harassment and she could report me to HR, how inappropriate it is, etc.

Mind you, this is the same chick who ten seconds earlier was laughing her ass off at them actually doing this to me. I tried to explain to her the backwards logic of getting mad at me while being IN ON the original prank, but all she can say is "It's not the same thing at all, you should just back away and stop talking". Which I do.

Meanwhile everybody else is shellshocked. On the advice of some friends, I went to the HR woman, who I was very cool with, and told her what happened. She was amused by the prank call, and understood my problem. But said if Lisa makes a complaint they would have to investigate it. She asked if I wanted to pre-empt any harassment claims with one of my own, but mostly since it would include the other girls (who were cool) I declined.

HR woman said it was good there were witnesses, but told me to kiss Lisa's ass for a while and obviously to "exercise more caution" in the future when dealing with her. Which was crazy considering she was one of the people who started it. But oh no, can't make the special snowflake upset, have to walk on thin ice while she does whatever she wants.

Not trying to hijack attention with this story. OP's situation just reminded me of it, and it sucks that women have so much legal power and immunity when they've done nothing to deserve it.

The whole problem here was OVER GAMING.

Dial it back a little while you're on the clock, man!

There's nothing wrong with a little flirting and teasing, but when you're ON THE CLOCK, there's certain lines you shouldn't cross.

Next time wait til you're hanging out with her after work (a situation that, despite all the trouble you've caused yourself, has yet to materialize) to turn up the heat a bit more than is 'conventionally appropriate'.

At least then, even if she denies you and makes things awkward, you're jobs not at risk.

I don't know man. One shouldn't "turn up the heat" with an employee....whether you are on the clock or off. Legally speaking, it makes not difference. I have seen this too many times. When harassment is alleged, more times than not, it stems from interactions "off the clock"

^ Well sure, ideally the guy would not be shitting where it eats at all. But all else being equal and assuming that it's a given that he's going to act on his impulses, there are better ways to go about it.
