in the 80's - mid 90's being black was definitely a turn on for Latina, White, Asian, etc women who LOVED hip hop culture and did not get what Hip hop brung in their own culture....but since the mid 90's Hispanic guys, White guy (see Channing Tatum) and other cultures started to get their own version of Hip Hop swag so not only did it hurt black guys allure but it also made them MORE ATTRACTED to their own people who "act black" or "had swag"

I remember being on AOL chat rooms between 97-00 and remember "aslrp" (age sex location race pics) and i remember vividly reading girls who were in the text board discussing rap music, "nigga this, niggas that" and you would of thought they were black and then when you found out not only that they're not black but they only like "ricans" "mixed guys" or "cute white boys with black boy swag" at that time I knew that us as a culture being so acceptive of everybody else has...AND ALWAYS WILL...backfire on us.

With all that said you have to play the cards you were dealt. Work out, learn different languages, have superior hygiene and MORE IMPORTANTLY GET MONEY....that goes so understated but its the truth. If you are single you need to make AT LEAST 90-100K and thats at the bottom of the "comfortable tier"

good thing if you live in America you can get ALMOST GUARANTEED get 90-100k in 6 years time being either a Pharmacist or Physicians Assistance. Thats what I always advise to all young black men who ask me for advice on life and career.

Next guy makes 150k as a Corporate Lawyer goes on date with the same woman spends no money walks around a park talking.

What you're talking about now pertains to the women.

Black women have always set the standard for curves.

I'm not so sure about that. I don't think a white woman who wants a booty or fuller lips is trying to be black anymore than a black woman with a perm is trying to be white. If you ask a black woman with a bone straight weave if she's trying to be white she'll of course look at you like you're crazy. A white woman getting collagen in her lips would think it just as odd if you implied she's trying to be black. I think what both are doing is trying move toward some genetic mean. You're interpreting too literally. Because they desire to adopt certain features doesn't mean they actually want to "be" black, just like black women with blond hairstyles (which I hate), or getting nose jobs to get smaller, bobbed noses want to "be" white. Some black women definitely don't think their natural features are pretty enough, just like some white women don't feel their figures are womanly or sexy enough. I have noticed that the lip thing rarely seems to turn out well, even if it isn't to the extreme of the woman pictured. The desire for DSLs has definitely grown for some reason.

I agree with your point about non black guys with "Swag". If you boil down most of the core concepts of "game" and alphaness in general you can see clearly that women are attracted to alphaness or at least what they perceive as alpha as far as social interaction.

Without getting too far into the weeds with this one, its very clear that part of the negative perception of black males in the media is also part of the advances that black players in the dating field were able to make in the 90's early 2000's . The thug, "gangsta" image basically read - bad boy image was seen as exciting and a welcome change from the normal 9-5 boring white society that people saw on TV. What many black folks were trying to get away from image wise, was exactly the alluring and curious image that some women wanted to find out about. There of course were also some fringes of white society that attracted the same thing (outlaw bikers, rock star types, redneck rodeo types..) all outside the suit and tie boring church going middle American white male that was common in the media.

Now with pop culture you have white male role models switching from Bankers / Lawyers to Rappers, NBA stars, UFC fighters.. basically any alpha and non cookie cutter white "gentleman" role becoming more popular, more white teens are playing into that role and surprise..chicks respond to it. Point taken and I agree that there is something to the opposites attacting type of thing. Some of it is curiousity and some of it is just that they look different from you and somehow seem a little more interesting.

I can honestly tell you too that I have had many black and latin women saying they like my skin color and skin tone and I'm pretty white. I have heard them say that I would have good babies with them "make some good red bone babies" with them, with the case of black girls at least etc. But I don't let that get to my head or think too much into it. It's that opposites kind of attract in some instances and to them I might seem more interesting or cute. I certainly do not let stand as an example of them wanting to be white or not liking they way they look.

And there are tons of white chicks with asses. I mean not huge huges asses like American black women, but ass that is sufficient. Certainly better than Asian, Indian or other Eastern countries asses and on par with some fit black girls. At least where I am there is.

The implant thing is really really popular in Brazil how do you explain that? These are girls are often mixed, black , white , native so explain that...maybe they aren't black enough? Lips? Point taken and I agree that there is something to the opposites attacting type of thing. Some of it is curiousity and some of it is just that they look different from you and somehow seem a little more interesting.

I can honestly tell you too that I have had many black and latin women saying they like my skin color and skin tone and I'm pretty white. I have heard them say that I would have good babies with them "make some good red bone babies" with them, with the case of black girls at least etc. But I don't let that get to my head or think too much into it. It's that opposites kind of attract in some instances and to them I might seem more interesting or cute. I certainly do not let stand as an example of them wanting to be white or not liking they way they look.

And there are tons of white chicks with asses. I mean not huge huges asses like American black women, but ass that is sufficient. Certainly better than Asian, Indian or other Eastern countries asses and on par with some fit black girls. At least where I am there is.

The implant thing is really really popular in Brazil how do you explain that? These are girls are often mixed, black , white , native so explain that...maybe they aren't black enough? Lips? I mean full lips are nice..some people have no lips, doesn't mean they want huge lips though. Breast implants...that is stand alone and regardless of race women are getting them augmented lifted, shaped, shrank and enlarged and I dont' think that big breasts are are a dark skinned person thing anyways. Breasts are typically larger on white women from my experiences.

I am well aware of black women wanting red-bone babies, so they would obviously favour you because of your skin colour. There has been countless studies on how children of different colours are treated and even a disturbing study showing black children favouring white barbie dolls.
Sadly, these women do not understand that no matter what shade you are, in today's society you are still deemed black.
It is also too easy to say that it is all about opposites attract, there are other factors which I will not get into.
Also when I refer to asses, I am not talking the stereotypical big mama's ass. I don't know how many women you have been around, but alot of white women have flat asses and if they do have one it is usually fat. Add to the fact generally they also have small lips that resemble a fish, again I am not saying all but a large majority.

Black people are viewed as being on the bottom of the totem pole in society, almost daily we are bombarded with negative stereotypes that are being re-inforced.
Alot of non-black women feel it is beneath them to date black men, I am not bitching just stating the obvious. So there is a reason why threads like these are relevant to black guys, yet we get others jumping on disputing the information that is provided.

You may find the sexual stereotypes to be good but there are negatives to it as well. I speak from experience not from what I THINK is the case.

True. I came here to comment about the posted thread topic then ran into this garbage. A separate topic maybe should be created. I think the forum rules do not allow for a specific thread to be posted about the topic. That’s why they almost always get sidetracked and everybody get on their rants and soap boxes.

I am African American. Been an adult for 8 years. My generation is a bit more open but people stick to their own races regardless. It will probably never change. Human nature. Does that stop any of the AA players on this forum? No. We accept the way the game is and drive on. We may have a smaller pool for us to dive into but so what. My experience on US cities and "dating" limited to south Texas. Corpus is mehh. I've smashed alot of white girls out there but dating??? Who knows? You don't see too many black and white couples out here. IMHO Mexicans are just like us, so you have that pool to jump into. They are almost as open to us as they are to Mexican men. The Valley is another story. They are intrigued by us and we aren’t out there so if 20% of valley girls are attracted to us then you have that whole 20% to choose from. San Antonio is like Corpus. I lived there for a few months before my first deployment. Had a few white girls out there too. As far as dating, idk. Couples? You see some black white couples. I was in Seattle for three months last year. April to June. Coming from South Texas and going back to the Westcoast was a shock at first. Got used to it after a while. Been meaning to drop a datasheet but haven't put in the work tho. Seattle culture is weird. When I got there I wanted an Asian. Ended up smashing a blk/Korean girl. You see more Asian and white than anything. Tacoma area is the hood so that’s probably where most of the mixes are at. Somalia women didn't give me any love at all though haha. They are gorgeous too. I think the westcoast is fairly open. No real difference than what I'm used to. I can't speak on Houston, Austin, or Dallas but we have alot of Houston players on here.

All in all I think you get in where you fit in. There are places for whatever races you want. Asian it seem that SF is the spot, Hispanic I would say El Paso, San Antonio, or South Texas. I can't speak on the black and brown relations in Cali. White girls seems to be Chicago and Minneapolis. My boys say Iowa and South Carolina are good for us too. Latinas is FLA and NY.
