Any of you guys who are travelling in Australia in late October-early November should make a point of heading to the Spring Racing Carnival.
The Carnival runs over four days with the biggest race being the Melbourne Cup which is a two mile race and open to Thoroughbreds from all over the world.This race is called "the race that stops the nation" because just about everyone in the country watches it.It's run on the first Tuesday in November.
Derby Day is the Saturday before the cup,Oakes day (ladies day) is the Thursday after the cup and Stakes day is the Saturday after the cup.All of these days are great days out with tons of hot women dressed to kill.
If you can only make one day of the carnival,make it the Melbourne Cup.This race is Australias biggest sporting event and has a major party atmosphere.
The women at spring carnival will rival anywhere in the world.Many of the countrys top models,actors and athletes will be there.You will see more 8's and 9's in one day than you would normally see in a month.
Most girls will be open to conversation.The shoulder to shoulder nature of the event pretty much demands you talk to the person next to you.Girls bitch shields will be down because of the the champagne and the party atmosphere.Great place for game newbies to get comfortable conversing with hot women while seasoned players will more than likely kill it.
You will need to dressed in a killer suit to stand out.Most guys will be in reasonbly smart suits so you will need to work the right shoes,belt,pocket square ect to make yourself visible if sartorial game is your thing.
After:Most bars in the city area will be busy but the one I would recommend is Transport in Fed Square.Plenty of drunk middle class 7's and 8's to make a move on.P J O'reilleys a few hundred metres away is also a good meat market,the girls will be less attractive but more slutty.
Crown Casino further along from P J's is a good place to end the night.Plenty of bars and gambling although the gaming opportunities will be harder than the other venues I mentioned as it will be getting late and only the party hardy remain upright.
All in all,I would say that if you are making the trip to Australia,Spring Carnival is definitely a good time to do the Melbourne leg of your trip.The weather is coming into summer and not oppresively hot,but hot enough for the short skirts and slutty vibe to be out in force.
The final day of this years Carnival was today,so you gentlemen have exactly one year to get your suits ready and book your flights for next year.You wont regret it.
