How did the Roosh V Forum made Money?

Roosh V always talked about making money while travelling. But I can't find any information about purchasing something on the RVF.
I also heard about people buying sth on here. It would be great if any experienced RVF user could answer my question.

Most sales were from Bang, a few from Day Bang, and almost no memoirs like Why Can't I Use a Smiley or travel guides like Bang Lithuania.  Based on Amazon sales rank calculators, I figured maybe 1,000 copies per year of Bang sold on Amazon, perhaps 2,000 books total.

Remember, Roosh's forum had only around 14K cumulative registered members.  Many were broke cheapskates who never bought a book.  Even if every member bought two books (or nonmembers bought them instead), there would still be cumulative sales of only 28,000 copies.

Kindle books are very cheap ($3), or were even free during promotions. Some titles were reprints of articles on his website, or just jokes, like Don't Bang Denmark or Compliment and Cuddle.  Roosh's "life's work collection" included over 20 titles.  When he sold that bundle, he surely added 20+ to his cumulative sales count.  So, sales on his own site might have been a multiple of Amazon sales.

Nevertheless, 200,000 copies seems like stretch.  He must have made no money on half of those "sales".  The forum was only particularly active from 2009-2018, when Roosh got cancelled and closed Return of Kings.  If he made $3 on 100,000 real sales, that would still only be $30K/year during his active period.

Roosh eventually surpassed his previous $60K annual income as a biologist, and spent only half of that.  He owned a laptop, camera, breadmaker, one Zara suit and a enough other clothes to fill a suitcase.  Book banning at Amazon was no big deal, because he didn't make his money there.  He made it selling ads.  The forum was grew to over 1MM visits per month.  But getting demonetized in 2018 led him to close Return of Kings and then find religion in 2019.

There is your answer.  Roosh consciously ran a viral hate-click marketing platform.  Misogynist troll articles would circulate on Facebook, bringing new members to his sites.  Google Adsense pays $.2 - $2.50 per 1,000 views.  That adds up.  But Roosh was operating off his laptop while traveling, using social media and free platforms like Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Paypal, and Amazon.  He was just a freeloader who eventually antagonized his hosts.
