Girl going to much lower SMV
04-23-2019, 02:16 PM
something I have been thinking about recently, I have sometimes saw good girls going to guys below their range from some weird reason that I cant explain.
Recently my friend LTR ditched him for a guy with much much lower SMV after 6 years of serious relationship. She had everyone one could want for with him:
- living in his luxury apartment
- driving his nice cars
- going to fine dinings
- traveling the world with him
- money for her business adventures
- could have been set for life with him
He is a good looking guy and has fairly good game. She was only a a few years younger than him, not a big deal. He was treating her well, no beating or some shit.
He was cheating him around 1 year with some guy with average job and in the end ditched him for that guy. Now she is living in much worse than she was used to in terms of apartment, car and general lifestyle.
What needs to happen in someones head to accept such downgrade ? I would have never done it if I was female and I find it hard to believe it could happen.
Lessons:
1) Never trust 100%
2) Always a prenup
what do you think ?

after 2-3 years, some women "want a commitment" or they do get the shits, lose respect and bail out.
I've lost a few great LTRS this way. In fact the max life span of LTRS due to this effect is about 2-4 years.

After a year or two relationships get boring, sex gets dull, and you're fed up with a girl unless you two don't make significant progress.
I agree with previous posters, after two years either commit to her, or ditch her.

I don't understand. Usually, in Western nations, the guy is dating a woman with lower SMV, particularly if he found her on Tinder or Bumble.

You're looking at SMV too objectively. To women it's more about how the man makes them feel.

Somewhere along the way, the guy lost his frame in the relationship.
Did he stop going to the gym? Stop pursuing his hobby and lifestyle?
Did he stop being the guy she fell in love with? I'm guessing this is an element.
A woman will forever try to change you (i.e. obtain the frame), and the moment she succeeds is the moment itll go downhill.
Doesnt matter if you have nice cars and travel the world.

Could be any reason.
Maybe he was boring.
Maybe they just weren't THAT compatible.
Maybe he psychologically bullied her, or just had/developed a horrible personality (can happen out of the blue!)
Maybe her social circle fitted better with the new bloke (bullshit things like that can influence hoes)
Maybe she was just "a mentalist" as Alan Partidge would say : D
You can influence some aspects of it with money, but not all.
Otherwise he'd basically be dating a prostitute.
