Hey guys
so I went out to a bar on Friday met this Norwegian exchange student we spoke, danced a little bit then took her Norwegian number, due to bad logistics on her part, inorder to connect through WhatsApp. I texted her to try to set up a meet on Saturday, here is how it went,
Me: Sex Machine, I know you had a good time at beerhall, girl
Her: I did Haha, did you?
Me: ( I fell asleep so I texted the next day on Saturday) I had a good time, I just woke up, you look like an 80s girl on your pic
Her: Haha, thank you?
Me: Do you live on campus, join me at xyz bar at 5

After this message she did not respond until the next day sunday, at 3pm. Then she restarted
Her: awe sorry didn't see your message until now, did you have a good time?

I just saw that text 5 hrs later, I think she saw my date invite due to the WhatsApp online notification, she just didn't want to meet. How do I proceed here textwise, do I build more rapport then set another date or do I next her as she could potentially be another attention whore.

No matter if she saw your message or not, she said "aww" and didn't respond to meeting up with you.

Ask what trouble she's getting into this coming week, find out what evenings she's free, and then find a day, time, location that works for you.

By being direct you cut out all the bullshit and get the following answers:

-Agrees to your date and moves on

-Counters your offer with another date/time/place

-Gives an excuse, doesn't respond - move on

Keep in mind that this girl is Norwegian. English is not her first language (as far as we know). It can be difficult to read into the nuances of the texts of a non-native speaker. Don't take it too seriously and try to not sound too needy.
