Overview
My first time in Ibiza was the summer of 2012 for ten days, it was so good that the following year I went there for the summer season. since then i have been going at least once every year and have friends that live there too. I was most recently there for the closing parties in October 2018.
logistics
Playa Den Bossa - this is one of the most expensive parts of the island, although all of Ibiza is pretty expensive. Here you are likely to see people all over the world but mostly British, Italian and Spanish from things here are really really over priced, i once paid around 8 euros for a box of strawberries only to find out later they were out of date. This is actually maybe the most popular place on the island due to having some of the biggest clubs like HI club, Ushuaia and Sankeys also DC10 isn't far at all. A lot of people also go to Borra Borra beach club, which is next to jet hotel, jet also plays music in the day and is located on the beach. there are lots of restaurants in Playa Den Bossa. I wouldn't recommended ANY, most are terrible and very expensive. its better to buy something from the supermarket and cook it yourself or head to the outskirts of the area where you will find some better quality food where Spanish locals eat. There are some really nice hotels and apartments here, from Ushuaia and Hard Rock hotel being extremely expensive to some lower budget hotels.
San Antonio - Cheaper than Playa Den Bossa, its not known for its wonderful hotels or restaurants much more of a budget area. Its more known for its hostels and most of the season workers will live here. its quite a dirty place and you can expect to see many British, a lot of them being from the north. A lot of people binge drinking and its what i would imagine Magaluf to be like. Although San Antonio Bay is much nicer.
Ibiza Town - the only city on the island, however its not a big one, there are reasonably priced hotels and apartments here and some decent restaurants too, they also have some clubs and many cool bars although the clubs are not super clubs like in Playa Den Bossa. Its has a big port and its very close to Figueretes which has a nice beach also its not too far from Playa Den Bossa.
Sant Eularia - Much more of a chilled vibe here, there are no big nightclubs only a few bars by the marina. Its more for older people, there are some really nice beaches and its very clean and well looked after. Its cheaper here than in Playa Den Bossa but more expensive than San Antonio. some really nice hotels and restaurants at reasonable prices.
Nightgame
If your looking for a fast lay, you will probably be best suited in San Antonio's 'west end' here its full of bars and pubs with cheap booze. Here you will not find a girl to take home to your mother but more a girl who would fuck you without knowing your name. Mostly British sluts binge drinking. Full of idiots your most likely to get into a fight here and also likely to see people being sick on the street.
You will find much better quality in Ibiza town it has an overall better vibe than San Antonio. A lot of local girls here and girls that aren't going out purely to listen to their favourite dj. there's some pretty decent bars and a high volume of people due to it being a city.
I don't really rate the bars in Playa Den Bossa, although you will get some deals on drinks, the bars aren't exactly popping off with hot girls.
HI club - massive super club with loads of different rooms, its changed from when it used to be called SPACE, a little bit more poncy looking. in a nice location in Playa Den Bossa though amongst all the hotels.
DC10 - basically two massive rooms, again hard to speak inside, this is a proper rave, the ceilings will be dripping sweat, there is a massive terrace though which will be easier to game. a short drive from Playa Den Bossa, around 5 mins.
Amnesia - In the middle of nowhere between San Antonio and Playa Den Bossa. about ten minute cab journey from Playa and San An. great club again two massive rooms, the music is absolutely pumping inside. has great events on every week.
Ushuaia - Is a expensive hotel that holds big events, they have some wicked dj's here but its very poncy you may go there thinking its 'the battle of iv got the biggest gold watch awards'. that being said you will be A LOT of beautiful women here from all over.
Ocean Beach club - Its a pool party by the beach, located in San Antonio, you could think your in a brass party, the girls wear next to nothing there are many wannabe gangsters here they all come to life when champagne shower starts where idiots earn the club around an extra million pound in 5 minutes. A lot of Essex looking girls. Mainly all British.
Daygame
Firstly I wouldn't say Ibiza is the best place in the world to daygame but there are places to do it. I would say the best place is Ibiza Town due to its high volume of girls and the good quality it has to offer. there are also some nice attractions to see whilst your there daygaming.
Sant Eularia also has some lovely local girls with more class not a massive town but big enough to daygame, it also has nice beaches
Playa Den Bossa's beach would be a good spot but you would want to bring your A game as there will be many jacked guys on the beach with money. They would most likely be intoxicated which would help you, again amongst all the hotels to make good logistics.
San Antonio, not the best quality but you could probably find yourself a slag lurking around in the day. Its the second biggest area on the island after Ibiza Town.
conclusion
Ibiza has changed a lot since i first went. its becoming full of posers and people that want to go there to put it on their Instagram, more of a Marbella type of crowd. This place attracts many of the typical westernised girls. Ibiza is very expensive and over priced. You could pay from £20/£90 for an entry to the big nightclubs and you would pay around £17 for a single alcoholic drink and £12 for a bottle of water. You would spend less at a 5 star resort in the Caribbean for two weeks than you would a week in Ibiza.
Personally if i'm going for music and for girls I would stay in Playa Den Bossa due to the nightlife. If I'm going to relax i would go to Sant Eularia or other chilled parts of the island like Cana Llonga, or Portinatx. Ibiza town is also a good choice as its in between Playa Den Bossa and Sant Eularia. I would find an apartment on airbnb or booking.com and also buy food from the supermarkets to cook at home if your staying in San Antonio or Playa Den Bossa. There are some lovely restaurants in Sant Eularia and Ibiza Town and also Santa Gertrudis.
Ibiza has declined over the years due to the westernisation disease like a lot of places. The clubs are still unbelievably good if you love house music then there probably isn't anywhere better, that's why it has been dubbed the 'party capital of the world'. There are also many beautiful places to see in Ibiza like beaches and countryside. You could get a lot more for your money elsewhere. If you love partying and house music, then it would be ideal for you.
