Did not meet any locals who were doing the same thing as me as I did not witness any day game approaches. One of the Colombian guys working at the hostel with a motor bike had a 7 for a girlfriend. On the metro, saw many local guys with a girl below their sexual market value.

However, locals definitely got night game/social circle game. On Setanta Carrera - saw good dance game from locals, even older men. In Parque Lleras, saw good approaching at the bar as a group of men approached the girls at the Club Gusto bar that I was observing and persisted to keep chatting even with the girls after I had left.

While walking the streets in the afternoon Aguacatala and Poblada- saw many couples making out, girls usually above a 6.

The internet does show gusto bar as a hooker bar, my guess is there are probably some hookers there and people that review have a bad experience... you just have to know which ones to approach and you can kind of tell if the girl is a hooker too

A buddy of mine is traveling in Medellin for 2 weeks and he took me to Gusto (I'm not big into pros, but sometimes it can be great fun if you're with the right group of friends). I was blown away by how hot the girls were, but it's obviously not normal for a bunch of 9's to be all over you and touchy feely for no reason. Any normal girl who walked into that place would immediately realize all girls are prostitutes. I don't believe any non-working, single woman would enter that place unless she went with a group of her guy friends (and in that case her guy friends would be very protective of random whore-mongering guys trying to pick her up), or if she happened to be friends with a bunch of prostitutes (in that case there's a 99% chance she's also a pro).

This isn't very important of course, I'm just trying to add some accuracy so somebody reading this doesn't go into Gusto with false expectations.

I've spent over a year in Medellin.

I skimmed your post very rapidly but you definitely paid too much for all your rides, and gusto indeed is crawling w/ hooks. I go there very occasionally for the music, but I get the feeling the normal girls would feel uncomfortable there w/ so many hooks around. I tend to avoid going out Sun-Wed in lleras besides dinner. The line is indeed blurry. I've had times where I thought friends and I were meeting normal girls, and at the last sec at the crib they find the balls to ask for money, possibly bc that was an occasion where I was rolling deep w/ US friends who all were obviously just visiting a couple days, trying to have a good time. Conversely, there are times where a hook will treat you normal, not asking for money up front, if she thinks there's other ways to take advantage of you. If she finds no other avenues to rip u off, then perhaps you get asked for dough at that point. Usually I'm decent at figuring it out pretty early now, doe. Very few hooks will be super-obvious upfront. Once you've been there awhile u get a feel for it.

I've met dozens of girls randomly doing normal activities like mall shopping, ciclovia in el estadio, off the street not in lleras, wherever, that end up coming up w/ BS stories (pay for my taxi/refuses uber bc she's not actually as far away as she claims; pay for my babysitter; can I bring a friend/cousin?) to suck money out of u (marranear) just b/c ur gringo, even if ur almost-fluent in spanish like me and make it clear you've been there a long time and EVEN have told her stories of other chicks you've rejected for "marraneando." Yeah please let us know, also where else have you been in latin America and have not had any issues with being drugged? I enjoy nightlife and drinking and Colombia overall is probably the worst country to go out and drink in. I heard good things about Panama City, Santo Domingo DR, Mexico City, and Lima Peru in regards to overall safety going out. Otherwise may be best to stick to Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Miami, Punta Cana and other "vacation" spots since you don't have to worry about the criminals and Drugs as much but that can pertain more to Colombia and not all of Latin America.
