I eat out all the time right now but it's expensive and unhealthy and want to start cooking more. I can cook a few really nice dishes but most of them take quite a lot of time and effort.
What are your favourite simple dishes to whip up quickly that taste great?

1/2 a cup of almond meal into a bowl lightly lined with butter or coconut oil.
Add in two cracked eggs.
Add in a table spoon of milk or brine.
Whisk well.
Pour into a heated frying pan & cook until solid. Flip over once the base is golden brown for a couple minutes more.
Now you have an almond meal, egg omelette / pancake thing with which to add either sweet or savoury toppings.

Bed of baby spinach on a large plate. Lace through with whole grain mustard.
Cook a grass-fed beef steak or grass-fed beef sausages with a bit of butter.
Add the beef to the bed of spinach. Season with Himalayan salt. Very simple, quick, tasty & highly nutritious.

Fill a bowl with 2/3's baby spinach (serving for one).
Add in two or three heaped table-spoons of the best quality mayonnaise you can find.
Add in some crunchy Indian / 'Buhja' chickpea noodles.
Fry two eggs.
Dice said eggs once cooked.
Add a small amount of salt, tumeric & paprika.
Mix the whole lot together.

I'm a pretty simple man.
Thaw a salmon fillet overnight, pan fry the next day in butter.
Apple and sharp cheddar on the side.

1 package of stew meat into the crock pot, fill it with beef broth or water and your choice:
- BBQ sauce
- Worcestershire sauce
- Oregano
- Lemon-pepper seasoning
- Montreal steak seasoning
Let it cook all day while you're at work, come home to a tasty beef meal!
Also 2 choices for your side dish, both of them rice. Either dump the rice in with the beef for 25 minutes (this could be great or gross depending on what seasonings you put in earlier) or use the rice cooker.
