building muscle w creatine vs whey.

You don't have to be a meathead to get women, but a bit of extra bulkage never hurt...Anyone use creatine to build muscle? I find it makes me nauseous and alters my state of mind a bit. Anyone find just whey is enough to get to where you wanted to be?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, I just hate bodybuilding sites...and it IS related to getting girls...

Like Riker said, there's quite a few body building threads in Money and Lifestyel

To answer the initial question though, I dont use creatine, to me its "unnatural", whey powder and other protein products I dont have an issue with, sometimes it can be hard to get enough protein without some help.

Creatine is pretty expensive too, you end up having to consume a lot of it to get the results, though I used it when I was in highschool, I did notice that I had much faster recovery when I used it.

If you're reacting that badly I'd say dont take it, which is probably what you dont want to hear because that shit is expensive and that probably means you've got a lot left. I've added good bulk in the past 8 months with nothing more then diligence and a high protein diet. Creatine might help but at the end of the day its all about work.

you don't need creatine or whey. Follow the paleo diet first before jumping on any supplement bandwagons.

when you take creatine you will add on a lot of water weight. When you stop taking it, you will lose most of the weight. Btw, creatine IS natural (research the phosphagen-creatine energy system).

Whey protein is protein that is quickly absorbed.. this is why it is recommended for post workouts. You have broken down your muscle fibers from putting stress on your muscles (lifting weights), so the quickly absorbed whey protein will help rebuild the muscles. This should help clarify the "45 minute window" theory of lifting weights.

Personally, I eat whey protein because it adds variety to my diet. I am not into supplements at all, and have made gains without taking ANYTHING, but I actually enjoy the taste of a protein shake, and I can't eat chicken 24/7

Whey is just protein chaps. I throw that shit into anything I can.

Creatine is just a supplement and some people suffer side effects. It has some benefits, but its not going to make you pack on 10kgs in a year.

This is accurate, though whey isn't even completely necessary if you're getting enough protein through food. Though, I don't personally use creatine for financial reasons, do you're research and you'll see that its perfectly safe, natural, and effective.
