I'm going with the pet shop opener and I'm wondering if I got her stopped and standing there do I just go through the steps and ramble on?
I've had two girls take out their phones and actually try to help me. Should I assume that these girls are at least somewhat interested in talking to me?
Also when they have out their phones I'm telling them why I'm looking for a pet store. After that if they're still standing there should I just go directly into why I'm there asking them about the pet shop to see how responsive they are to continue the conversation?

Roosh-Do you advise sticking to elderly chat openers and rambling even if you're getting strong IOI's (strong eye contact), etc? I'm guessing you can say that i'd be ok to deviate from that as soon as you get the personal question, etc

I always stay open indirect and go elderly. If the girl really does like me, she can ask her personal question and then I can quickly shift gears.

It took me a while to get into the Pet Shop opener line for example, because it wasn't really something that enthused me.
However if you can get to the point and develop your own line, or ramble about something you know a lot about, it makes a hell of a difference. E.g. I can spend all day rambling about public transport and stupid observations, but it took me a while to ramble about pets, after many approaches.
Rambling used to be my sticking point, despite being a very chatty guy, I used to not try and keep the girl there. Now it's a natural reflex, to reinforce this to myself, I adapted a well known Muhammad Ali phrase:
"Ramble young man Ramble."

I'm also reading the Galnuc part right now but I am having trouble with rambling. I don't know how long I can ramble but I can only go on for 1 minute maximum.
