About my person, I am 5″11 and have a mixed look of middle/southern
Europe due to my German and Balkan origins. I would say I am above average looking, maybe a 7 to 7.5 if I would need to compare it to the scale of this forum. Before you read this, you should now I am neither a night gamer nor do I approach en masse as many of you guys here. I did a bit of daygame, a bit of night game and a bit of online game during my stay.. So I would consider myself as a standard natural with a bit of game. I have spent 5 months in Athens last year and would like to share my impressions about this awesome city with you. Athens in general is an amazing city with lots of things to do, from ancient places to visit, chilly coffee bars, restaurant or alternative bars to swimming in the sea and visiting nearby beautiful seasides/mountains, you got it all in Athens. Additionally, there is decent climate. Ive stayed from October to February and there was barely a month, where swimming in the sea would be considered as too cold. Food is monotonous, as almost every restaurant serves the same. Meat quality is good, but cant mess with Balkan cuisine in my opinion. Dont go for seafood, as Greeks dont know how to serve it. This applies for islands, too. If you come for a short period, you will like the food, though. A souvlaki is always a good bet. If you want some local or island cuisine, you should check the restaurant around Exarhia square, which are really charming, cheap and good.Athens is in my opinion super safe. I have lived in the most dangerous area and never felt unsafe in anyway. There is a lot of poor people here, you just need to be carefull in the metro, where gypsis try to rip your wallet or phone off. They do it really bad thoug. Still, it happened to a couple of girls. But if you are careful, you will be safe.
Where to stay and how to get around:
Athens is big, with a population of around 3 million if you count the suburbs, where many chics do come from. However, there is not one single centar, but many hotspots where to go. Still, your best accomodation bet is around Syntagma square, where the national parlament as well as the big quare and the entrance to the pedestrian area are. Other places with good location are Monasteraki (expensive though), Omonia, Patision road and everywehere close to a metro station that is maximum 3 stops away from Syntagma or Monasteraki. Short- and longterm stays are very cheap for European standards, quality can really differ and does not always depend on the respective price. Still, for 30$/night on budget you should be able to get a satisfying place quite central, at least if it is not main season (July-August).
Getting around is comfortable in my opinion, with cheap taxis and more or less free metro. You can buy a monthly ticket for around 15€ (which is ridicolously cheap), but there is more or less no controlls at all (beside in Syntagma station). Same applies for buses, which I yet do not recommend, as there are strikes and not all the buses depart regulary.
Girls
Looks: There we are, at the interesting part. I can agree with most previous reports. Greek girls are extremely hot, with great feminine bodies and enticing southern faces. I would defnitely say they have their own looks, it is not really comparable to other stereo types, but Southern European in general, of course. In the warmer months, they dress really hot, with really short skirts and pants. If you walk around Monasteraki in summer months you feel like in the promised land, its absolutely stunning. On the other hand, many really dress unsexy as well, with boyfriend jeans being extremely famous here. Also the alternative scene is big here.
Characters: Greek girls are approachable, friendly and helpful on the first sight. But from my experience more on a superficial level. It seems like they want to be or pretend to be open minded, but in fact they arent. Whenever something gets out of their control or standard pattern they become confused and retrieved. Its really a pain in the ass, as they dont have humour at all and seem to be trapped in a world of unrealistic romance imaginations. Greek girls definitely want it to be their way and that is why I found it super hard to break them. I didnt even manage to see my Greek buddy one single time alone or outside of an event, as she solely goes out with her 3 friends and she would never come to a party or event of which she doesnt know the organizor. They complain about Greek guys being boring and asshamsters (which is completely true + the biggest cockblockers ever), but whenever they meet confident independent men they pee in their pants and make massive drama. I got this opinion confirmed from Greeks living outside of Greece as well as from other Erasmus mates who I considered as gamers. This is why I concluded that Greek girls absolutely deserve Greek guys, it is just a weird folk. And mostly the good looking girls have Greek beta boyfriends indeed. They still seem to accept and even like it.
There are exceptions of course. You should for sure stick to university chicks who are more open-minded. A friend of mine banged a hot Greek chic from his study course. He was the only other guy of my Erasmus circle who at all banged a Greek chic and he is for sure the guy with some of the least game Ive ever seen. Neither does he have looks and he didnt bang any other girl during his whole semester. Says enough about Greek chics, I guess.
Game: This makes it of course difficult to game them, plus the fact that much is about Social Cirlces. You will see girls hanging out in big groups in the evening and sticking to them mostly the whole night. As it it is certainly mixed groups and even in parties these groups always stick together, it is alomst impossible to break into them without a Greek contact, which is also really difficult as Greeks prefer to stay among themselves. Everybody who has ever met a Greek outside of Greece will be able to confirm that. I also think I havent seen a single hook up with a Greek girl in a party during my whole stay, SNL in night game is thus very unlikely. If you want to try, you should go to Gazi, where you can find a party every night with couple of clubs with mostly Greek and some international music. Many of the clubs are also only for Greeks and have guest lists. However, I found the only Greek girls being really open to have sex with foreigners on a casual level will invest on themselves. You can find them more on private international parties and at university English courses. Older chics may be more open to casual sex, as I have heard stories from a Greek 35-year old girls from my house. Other areas would be Kipselis (almost exclusively locals), around Monasteraki or Exarhia (alternative anarchistic, but really relaxed and easygoing quarter).
Day Game thus worked better for me, as there are great venues such as Syntagma or Monasteraki square, where girls will just sit on benches alone being bored in their lunch breaks or reading books. I did maybe 2 weeks of Daygame in my whole Athens time with alltogether around 25 approaches. It led to a couple of numbers/Facebooks, but only two dates. The first one with a nice 7.5 dark haired chic resulted in my Greek flag on the first date. I met her 2 or 3 times more, but didnt invest on her anymore when she started her Greek romantic driven super drama. The second date was similiar, just that I didnt have sex at all with her, but therefore even more drama as it was too fast for her. Daygame is in my opinion definitely your best prospect here, if you do it persistently and constantly.
Onlinegame didnt really work for me, but there is plenty of girls on Tinder. Maybe it is because from my looks I could be Greek, too - so I didnt have any exotic factor here. I met two more American chics via Tinder who were way more approachable and easygoing for me. I only managed to get one Greek girl on a date, which was a 6 at max and I have also had sex with her on the first date (huge LMR though). To be honest, I didnt do much of Online game, as it was just much easier to bang Erasmus chics and I had captured my Greek flight quite early and didnt see the point of investing any more efforts in these mentally sick Greeks. Online game could have much more potential for blonde nordic guys though, as this is the type of foreign guys Greek girls like the most for sure.
Overall, Athens is one of the nicest cities Ive ever been to. In terms of girls, I would say it is worth it to come here and chase the Greek flag. The girls are hot. But they also have some serious caracter issues, almost all of them, which can make it hard and unpleasant. On a longterm perspective, you get a bit used to it, but also pissed off and I would still consider it really difficult to regulary get the hot ones into your bed.
