Hello all,
I am currently working for a Forbes 100 company as a key account manager (managing 40+ M$ / year sales)
I am starting to get frustrated with this job as my senior colleagues are constanly trying to steal my work or putting me down.
Recently, I started to have internal discussion to become a certified coach for my sales group.
It means the company would pay for my training + certification.
On top of that I would have to create the whole internal training and career plan structure.
My goal is to get experience there by creating my own training, mentoring my junior colleagues, visiting different countries and maybe even start doing some consulting at my clients for free.
I expect than within 2 years I will get enough experience and few recommandations to be independant.
Is anyone here involved into business coaching or sales consultancy? Does it sound like a good plan? Is it worth it in the long run?
I see it as one of my few options to get out of the corporate rat race.
Thank you for your advices
