Claims of Sexual Assault

So guys the other day I had an interesting conversation with a female co-worker of mine.

She told me this story about how last summer(2017) she went on a holiday to some party destination in Eastern Europe with four guy friends of her. One night two of the guys went out to a strip club and she and the two other guys stayed in the hotel room. Apparently she had something to drink but she wasn't feeling well and so she was in bed.

She claimed that as she was in bed, one of the guys came into the room and got into the bed with her while the other one was chilling on the balcony, oblivious to what was going on. She went on to describe how this 'friend' of her started touching and groping her while she was supposedly "drifting in and out of conscious". She didn't resist him because she "wasn't sure wheter she was dreaming or not". This dude eventually stopped and didn't try to take it further because the other guy walked in to check on them.

She claimed she didn't tell anyone untill a couple days before she spoke with me, when she told her mother about it.

Now, is this at all believable? I mean obviously I was being very understanding and didn't ask her any confronting questions("What the actual fuck where you doing, going on holiday with four guys then?") but still my bullshitdetector was off the charts.

This is actually the first time somebody (relatively) close to me told me a story like this and I'm not entirely sure what to make of it.

Please share your opinion on this story and have girls ever told you stories similar to this one?

Thanks a lot!

Sounds like your co-worker does not know what appropriate office communication is. I would suggest reporting her to HR for making you uncomfortable in the workplace with sexually explicit talk.

It's always possible that some dude's just a legit creeper. Her story doesn't have all the drama that's usually associated with attention-seeking false allegations, although the whole "am I dreaming" bit is laughable, unless she's not mentioning other substances than alcohol, which is probably the case if she went to a party town with four guys. It might just be regretting some party drugs and the resulting hookup, it might be that he messed with her drink.

Where it gets troubling is that you are a co-worker. Why in the hell would she tell this story to you? For some reason, she sees value in being seen as a victim by a colleague. Bad boundaries, bad news.

Personally, I'd avoid any involvement with her. Eventually, she's liable to convince herself that it's in her best interest to suddenly remember, a year later, that she was victimized by you, or that she'll recognize you as an emotional tampon and drag you into some bullshit situation that will cost you dearly.

Hidey-ho, RVFerinos!

Jet is right - avoid this chick like the plague.

Don't ever bring it up again and don't try being buddy buddy with her.

I don't fuck with female coworkers, thankfully we've only got 2 our age, both are donkeys.

Keep your convos with girls like that short - she's telling you that story for a reason - dont take that bait.

Yea I agree with you man. We have been co-workers for a while now and she most definitely strikes me as the kind of girl who loves to act as if she's being victimized all the time. Obviously I'm not really planning on becoming her emotional tampon but when she told me that story I just decided it was best to just show a bit of sympathy instead of calling her out on her bullshit.

Still it's only a bit of a side-job I do while I'm completing my studies so it's not that big of a deal. We fuck around like retards half the time anyway.

She goes "on holiday to a party destination in Eastern Europe" with four grown-up men. They spend their time between strip-clubs and booze. [Image: dodgy.gif]
Clearly, this chick is a basic 21st-century carousel-whore, and has the nerve to paint herself a virgin sleeping-beauty princess threatened by her bad male friends... [Image: tard.gif]
