Hi guys, I'm 27.
I've made a lost of blood exams. Everything was fine, my total T level was 1050 ng/dl. Only free T was very low and SHBG very high
Total T: 1050 ng/dl
Free T: 25,3 pg/ml range 27,3 - 69,3
SHBG: 80,4 nmol/l range: 13-71
Currently I'm eating a paleo/keto diet high in fat and very low in carbs, just few vegetables. Sometime I do also a "random IF", just depeds if I'm hungry or not: I can skip both breakfast and lunch, or other times I can skip dinner, when I'm hungry I eat all meals. I play MMA and CF. I don't have any problems during workouts have a lot of energy, stamina and strength also if I'm fasting from 24 hours. I'm 185 cm, currently my weight is about 85 kg with 15% approx. body fat.
I've read on Google that Keto diet may (but nobody is 100% sure) decrease free T and that eating carbs SHBG decrease.
I feel myself really good with this diet, can be a problem having a low free T? Maybe is better making other checks in order to see if was low only that time or if it is always low?
I've read also on google that free T blood check is almost inaccurate because it can float very fast, what about so high SHBG?
