Meanwhile, all of this is from a book by Joe McGinnis, who is a washed up lefty journo who is desperate for another best seller. Even The New York Times, which presumably would be favorable to anything that disses Palin, said the book was a complete sack of crap, a total waste of time.

I know one guy who has had dealings with McGinnis. His conclusion? When you stand next to him, you feel dirty.

We expect our politicians to have led pure lives. Obama did coke, Bush drank like a fish, Palin gets banged by a brother. Who cares?

What matters is their decision making about policy, their principles about government, and their executive ability. Sarah and Todd could be into whips and chains. I could give a shit and, I would bet, most Americans feel the same way. .

It's pretty fucking cynical to advocate for things like abstinence-only sex education, opposition to premarital sex, and decreased availability of birth control while reserving her very own seat on the cock carousel. It's like anti-gay rights, "family values"-oriented Republican politicians who get caught paying for male prostitutes.

If you judge one the basis of ethics, you'd find that politicians are the lowest of the low. Politicians(I would say 100% of them) all over the world throughout the history of mankind have been the epitome of opportunism, deceit, hypocrisy and not to forget uber-sexuality. It's just like you need a minimum level of smarts to pursue a Phd or a certain level of physique to pursue professional sports, similarly you do need to be a good lier and a game-player if you want to succeed as a politician.
