About a month a ago I changed my account from public to private to do some split testing

I had bought about 25K followers but moving to private definitely makes it seem legit... I have a few girls ask recently about Insta since I have a private account now.

Interesting topic.
Just started using Instagram a month ago. Almost at the first goal of 100 followers. (forgot to use hashtags at each post and lost a lot of the action but it’s just silly social network who cares)

Following all the girls that follow me and then I send them DM with 0% success lol the only response I got was to follow another account.

Anyway a lot of fake accounts of Ukrainian women u can easily spot them because all the posts uploaded at the same date. Same was in VK (FSU version of facebook) when I was using it a year ago with terrible results.

In my experience if your page looks “bad” few followers/friends and no “cool” pictures forget about online.

How many new followers are you getting per day with Jarvee?

I have a friend that does a great job in getting girls interested in him through IG. He posts mostly social proof pics of him with hot girl(s). He has an interesting social circle with weird power dynamic so these IG posts really stir up some emotions. But for a guy with less than ideal social circle I don't see a point of IG. I also don't see the point of Tinder/Bumble. I do see the point of local status so may be a quality IG can act as a local status booster?

Most services give the option of sending an automatic DM to all new followers - do you think this would drive engagement up or make it look like my account is automated?
Something like;
"Thanks for following me! I’m curious — what is it about my posts that interests you, and how can I make them better? Look forward to seeing more of your posts [Image: smile.gif]"

I wouldn't do this. It will make your account look automated and fake. The only possible exception is if you have a very narrow niche that you're targeting but if its just a regular IG profile, don't do it.

Today in insta news: IG whores upsetting environmentalists for taking photos on flowers.

Whose side do you take on this one: hippies, or environment-hating insta-whores, who will stop at no lengths to destroy the environment?

Quote:Quote:

When California exploded in a “super bloom” of flowers this spring, Instagram exploded with it, as hordes of selfie-taking tourists descended on the delicate florae. Now an anonymous online vigilante is trying to shame influencers who are trampling the plants they claim to love.

On an Instagram account called Public Lands Hate You, the author adds caustic commentary to images of destruction or carelessness, such as a recent shot of a woman presenting a bouquet of recently uprooted poppies. “Here’s a new low,” they wrote. ”Not just trampling. Not just picking flowers. But pulling the entire plant, roots and all, out of the ground! … Someone please make this stupidity stop.” The author noted that the poster was broadcasting the behavior to more than 13,000 followers.

What a great time to be alive.

Note: it appears the online shaming has already prompted some of these girls to pull down the offending photos.

I've recently gotten on the Instagram bandwagon. It's a great tool to get girls, especially if you can create a profile that makes your value very apparent.

My stories alone have directly gotten me laid a few times in my first month as a highly active user. I am good looking and travel a lot - 2 things that I've found to be a lethal combination with IG girls.

My follower count is still low (under 200) and I've resisted going the follower service route. I'm getting over 40 likes on my recent photos so that's a nice ratio, but I'm only getting 1 comment on most photos.

Another issue is that a high percentage of my followers are girls and a lower, though still high percentage, of the people I'm following are girls. Might not seem like a problem, but it is making some girls suspect I'm a player. This is a bit of a problem in SEA.

I know some will say I should go the automated route, but I don't want to be following a bunch of random accounts or have an outsized amount of random accounts following me. For me personally, I don't see the need for 10k+ followers - I'd be satisfied with around 1k to dilute the girls and give me a reasonable level of followers/engagement. My profile is strong enough to carry itself and will only get better as I test and tweak over time.

I heard that the commenting group isn't too active right now - I would be interested in starting another if the interest is there. We could also use the group to exchange other Instagram strategies.

If you have at least a few reps from in-person meetings and are interested in this, send me a PM and we can make it happen.

You guys who are buying followers/using followlikers are using instagram so wrong.

Having 50k followers isn't cool if you aren't a public figure/celebrity. Girls are going to be like "who is this full of himself fuckboy, who does he even think he is?"

If you want more followers just add hot girls that you want to talk to and see if they add you back.

A guy with 50,000 followers and insane done up modeling pictures isn't going to outpull a guy with 2000 quality followers and calibrated, normal pictures mixed in with some flashy ones.

Isn't that kind of like saying that girls aren't impressed by luxury sports cars because it must mean that the driver has a little dick or is insecure?

I think what he means is that girls will understand that most of these 50000 followers aren't genuine, ergo the guy seems fake. Whereas this guy with 2000 quality followers doesn't seem fake.

A Balanced Guide to Instagram Game

I wrote a massive (6,500 word) guide on Instagram game for my own website. If you want to read the entire version, click the link at the end of this post. This is the short TLDR version.

Why you need Instagram in 2019

Three reasons:
  • Every girls has it, particularly every HOT girl.
  • Instagram does a lot of the pre-selling for you (and YOU can control the narrative).
  • You learn to become patient and play the long game because building a good account is like building a brand, it takes time.
Only weak men that don't have enough going for them go "muh Instagram, I talk to women in REAL life." Yes mate, I'm sure you'd say the same if you had 100k cash in your bank account and a six-pack to boost. Do you think I don't talk to women in real life? These are complements, not substitutes.

How to build good Instagram content

Good content is based on three pillars: value, story, and intrigue. I break down how to do that with eight examples from my own account. Yes, I am not afraid to show my face. Back up your claims or stay silent. You can model your Instagram based on the guidelines I show because you will never run out of ideas for pictures.

I also explain the crucial factors behind a good picture:
  • Quality of pictures and whether you should go professional or not.
  • How to get your body language right.
  • Why you SHOULD NOT be always the center of attention in the picture.

There's more. Mistakes you need to avoid to not look like a dork on Instagram:
  • Selfies. We all no they are a no-go.
  • Poor body language. This is huge because it can kill your image.
  • Bad quality. This is kind of self-explanatory.
  • Looking too nice. You're trying to go for badass, not Mr.Friendly Provider.

I also cover stories and how to use them. Stories work based on the same three core pillars (value, story, intrigue) but you can get away with more. I show you:
  • Why funny stuff on stories is useless.
  • How to create intrigue with location tags. They are important for both but used differently for stories.
  • Which stories work and why (again with picture examples).
  • How to use permanent stories. You demonstrate value but here you go for video content instead of pictures. This works better for some qualities like cooking, sports, etc.

How to grow your account

This has been covered in this forum already and I actually initially started with the Followliker method. It still works well, you just need to be careful and not start too fast when you have a new account. Fake followers are an easier and faster method but if at some point you want to monetize your account, they'll be useless. For girls it does the trick. You can also grow it organically but be prepared to invest cash. You need to buy shoutouts on pages that fit your niche. If you only want to use it as a funnel for getting women, this will be hard.

I also cover how often you should post and why. In my experience, once a week is the maximum unless you really have a rockstar life. Instagram is your highlight reel and not a live stream. Also, your pictures can mature and collect likes that way and that never hurts.

How to meet women on Instagram

I think a more basic version of this was posted at some point in the forum. But I have expanded and perfected it and to my knowledge, there is nothing comparable out there. At least I haven't seen anyone write about this in such detail.

In short, it's a three-step process:

  1. Generate traffic sources
  2. Start liking
  3. Capture hot leads
Your traffic sources are locations where you live. That can be anything where girls tag themselves. I give you a big list of suggestions but anyone with a brain can put two and two together and conclude that nightlife and other social locations are great.

Then you start liking. Not only pictures but also stories. I break down exactly how to go through the stories, why Sunday is the best day, what to look out for when you scan girls' profiles and much more.

Last part is interaction. You want to slide in the DMs but you don't add her. You comment on her story, start a conversation and only later you (maybe) add her. Progression is key.

This unlocks a never-ending source of new leads. Yes, it's a lot of work. No, it's not fun. If you want to have sex, stop complaining and get to work. Once you start doing it on a big scale as I do, you'll get yourself a PA for the most onerous part (the liking). If you do it right and your content is good, I GUARANTEE you will get more leads than you have time and will to take care of.

No other method is as efficient as this. If you want to do daygame and run around for three hours to talk to 10 girls and get two numbers, that's up to you. I prefer to generate 20 conversations and 10 numbers in the same period of time. Then I still can go out to the club and talk to women in real life.

If you don't have Instagram these days, you're shooting yourself in the foot. Upgrade or be content with banging 6s. This is a market that heavily rewards a few winners at the expense of a lot of losers and I intent to be one of the former.

Here's the link to my guide (6,500 words, all free content, not a promotional site):

I posted this in another thread, but it belongs here.

I have an IG account with a few thousands of followers. I like to take pictures in my vacations. Most of them are landscapes, cities, that kind of photos.

I used an empty Tinder account to filter girls near me with IG accounts. I added them to IG. Some began to follow me back.

I never give them likes. I see their Stories and answer to some of them intelligently, never mentioning their appearance, always appealing to their intellect.

I already banged two cuties this way.

Well if the guy with 50K followers clearly bought his followers or his using bots and has poor engagement, then I agree that it can backfire and look lame. But if a guy has lots of genuine followers and likes because he has high social value and posts badass photos that people actually care about, I think that can only be a good thing. Could be wrong though.

There are very few men who have 50k+ followers organically, and would venture that there is almost none on this forum. If there is somebody, I am all ears for tips.

Becoming "insta-famous" is only slightly easier than actually becoming famous. The small handful of guys I know who have that many followers have gotten there through years of building their account, mainly because they had to for their job. One is a nightlife host who regularly parties with A-list musicians. Those musicians sometimes tag him in their posts, and he's able to get followers from that (and posts good quality content so engagement is great). These guys absolutely get tons of pussy but its not the reason they do it. They do it to build their "brand" and persona which is really useful for making money. It takes a ton of investment that wouldn't even be worth it just for chicks.

The more relevant point is that automating followers has largely lost its value. For one, automating your way to 50k followers will take years. But even if you get there, your engagement will probably suck, so the account will look fake. It is a much better route to get your account to ~1-2k followers (mostly real), have good engagement, and post normal but interesting snapshots of your life.

I agree with that last point for sure. It's true that there are very few regular people that reach 50K followers organically but I think when the poster said 50K he was exaggerating to make a point - there are actually quite a few dudes who I've seen get to 10K+ or even 20K+ followers though just being very attractive, having a sports car, or posting great travel pics alone. But like you said these guys probably account for less than 1% of the forum.

I just got Jarvee. 5 day trial is sufficient to see how it stacks up.

Having used it for 24 hours, I think it's a good option. +45 followers. It has some powerful tools and a lot more control of settings compared to other automation programs.

45 new followers per day with Jarvee is very good!

Having looked at it, it seems like a step up from Instantical and IGcasanova for sure.

Instantical got me about 1k new followers per month, IGcasanova is about 500 new per month.

Anybody else got good / bad results to post from these or any other services?

It seems Jarvee requires a Windows desktop. Are Instantical and IGcasanova the same?

*Hits head against wall*

You get a VPS from Amazon for free by signing up for one. In layman's terms you get access to an internet connected remote Microsoft Windows computer that you can run any software on (server, 24/7), in this case your automation program. They will take your billing details, put a small charge on your card, then remove it. With a mac or linux computer you run the VPS from "Microsoft Remote Desktop" which is also free.

Now that you have the VPS, it is not necessary for your computer to be on for the Automation software to continue functioning 24/7. You're welcome.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I've been using followliker for a while now. Then a couple of days ago, when I opened Instagram, there was a pop-up message from Instagram saying that they think I'm using a third party app to generate more likes and followers. And that if I don't stop using that app, they will remove the likes and followers that are generated that way and will also limit my access to certain Instagram features.

I stopped followliker straight away and the message then disappeared.

Has anyone else had this happen? What did you do? I didn't recently increase my follow/unfollow and like setting on followliker so that can't be it

You have your settings too high.
Don't use FL for a week, then slowly build it back up.

Man I've been using followliker and stopped maybe 5 days ago. What was happening was I kept getting hit with follow bans that were temporary. I'm starting to think there's an issue with the software. Also, for some reason, on the platform, I'm loosing followers day on day. I'm thinking I may have to switch over to something better, and that doesn't keep getting me shadowbanned. This is just my opinion, but people should take a look at options other than followliker.
