WKR Goes to Colombia (Bogota, Medellin) - 10 Days, 5 Bangs (Datasheet+Report w/ Pics)

Okay you are right man. I am a bit immune to some of the shady things that go down in chapinero because i keep a very low profile, trust noone (meaning i am always looking over my shoulder nonchalantly), people think i am colombian while i walk the streets, and i am bigger than most guys here.

I could see someone who has there guard down running into trouble here. Sorry for my comment on it being safe. I tend to forget I am nowhere near a typical foreigner as I do not tend to hang out with other foreigners and have been here long enough to know always be aware of your surroundings. I hear foreigners speaking english on the streets at 3 am and putting a target on their own backs.

Anyways with all that being said, I live in Chapinero alone in a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom. Thinking of putting other room for airbnb/ opening up to forum members for stays. anyone interested feel free to let me know.

Heard of people getting held at gunpoint in Chapinero ? Lmao that is such bullshit!

I have lived in Chapinero since may and it’s safe. Definitely not many tourists here so ya you’re going to get tons of looks. I had my friend from Sweden stay with me for a month (blonde hair blue eyes) and everywhere we went people would look at him . I loved the attention he got . Like you with your buddy joe, he was lucky to have me as i protect him from the hustlers who want to take advantage of foreigners.

Look. I don't lie to forum members. The 150 I've met will tell you that. I have a lot more time on the ground than your measly 5 months. My only reason for telling these stories is because I care about the people here . I consider them a family. So yes, someone tried to rob me. I snapped and beat his ass. I lived to see another day. But next time I might not.

You should listen to my advice because I gave it with the hope that it would open the eyes of you guys. But youre starting to make me regret it.

Sounds like you had a good time . Having a guy like joe and a group To go out with makes the nightlife better because the locals see that you are not just some sex tourist and will be more willing to talk to you.

Also, I like the girls better in Chapinero compared to zona t .

Zona t is expensive and college/younger girls can’t really afford that place . So, what you get on zona t is older girls who can afford to buy some drinks and want to meet more upscale men. I prefer younger girls who are generally more fun and don’t care as much about meeting dudes with money/status.
I’ll go to either place but I definitely prefer the younger girls .

The Colombian husband of a friend of mine got stabbed to death in Chapinero in a robbery gone wrong....is that bullshit too.

Awesome report.

I spent 2 nights in Bogota and got laid. Everyone told me Bogota was shit compared to Medellin, not as nice a city, and maybe the girls are a notch down but its a city full of horny colombianas.

Also - not a fan of Cartegena, if you want beach go to San Andres.
