Dreams impacting your mood when you're awake

I just woke up after a dream where my old physical education teacher tried to kill me with a dumbbell.. Time to get the day started

I've had the exact same type of dreams.
Being with a girl without any real sexual contact, yet feeling a state of bliss being together.
I've also had sexual dream moments.
Both situations put me in a well off mood the rest of the day as well.

Scientists still don't know why we dream.
I do know, however, that getting enough REM sleep makes the difference between me feeling sluggish all day or well rested.

Dreaming keeps us locked in the most beneficial sleep. Kind of like the waiting room while the car is getting fixed.
I have dreamed I banged out a girl I knew. Seeing her the next day was awkward. Girls also bang in their dreams and if they get banged good they go nuts for the guy in real life.

I've never gotten a dream bang. I've gotten so I can often have lucid dreams but just before the bang I wake up. Anyone able to post a dream bang datasheet?
