I'm part Armenian and i suppose could conceivably be mistaken for a Turk (quite a unedifying thing for my kind, but hey). Would that affect my experience of Kiev? I'm assuming 'Turks' are considered low value and scummy there (no comment there obvs...)

If you speak English natively and have a Western passport it will certainly help.
