Seriously, I recently took stock and was alarmed at how often I interact with something that potentially does me harm:

• medication storage
• medication dispersal
• food packaging (though I always store it in metal, ceramic or glass, wrapped food always arrives in shrink-wrap, especially meat)
• phone
• refrigerator shelves
• keyboard
• containers for body wash, lotion etc
• tap water ( i at least use a glass bottle now, but still...,)
  

Are there any plastics that don't leach into my bloodstream? Even the allegedly BPA-free lunchboxes are a potential source of contaminant.
Is a plastic-free life the only way?

When did plastic become so evil all of a sudden? I can't imagine my life without plastic. Hate going to the grocery store and getting paper bags.

Supposedly there are some forms of plastic which are not impacting our health.

Also no reason to worry about hard plastics like laptops - that is hardly leeching much into your body if at all.

Plastic by the way could be replaced either by durable hemp or banana peel products, but the petroleum industry is too strong for that.

There are certain plastics that are made from plant fibers but as Zelcorpion said, that market is small due to influence from the petroleum industry. However, those products do exist.

plastics that store liquids are problematic because harmful chemicals leach from the plastic into the liquid.

a plastic laptop is not a problem.
