Need ultra specific information, preferably from those in a similar situation.

Trying to form an excellent workout regiment but I have lots of restrictions on what I can can't do. Wondering if anyone has been in a similar boat ,with surgery and working out. Can't left more than 50lbs over my head and gotta be careful with twisting and jarring of the vertibrum. More of an later issue rather than immediate for these things to show up with early arthritis ect. I'm a young guy (early- mid twenties) so I want to be in excellent physical shape down the road. I also prefer to workout at home if I can, not all gyms are equal with friendliness of clients, available equipment ect.

I don't have a spinal fusion, however i have had a pretty fucked up back since I was a kid. Couple of surgeries due to herniated discs because of scoliosis. My advise for you is to take it slowly if you're going to build up your strength, since it's so easy to take two steps back when you take one forward when injured.
It may be a long and hard walk but when you get to the end it's beyond worth it. Good luck!
