Amazon.com Affiliate Program Question

Hey guys,

I've got a dumb question – is it possible for me, a non U.S. citizen, to become an affiliate for the Amazon.com website?

I've gotten to the PIN stage but it will not accept my Phone number and I also, naturally, cannot fill out the Tax Interview as I am not an American.

A search gave me a Quora answer which touts Payoneer as a possible solution but it is the first time I've heard of this firm and will have to learn about it before I sign for anything up.

But before I do anything I'd like to ask if any member has experience with my situation.

I will review books, movies, games which I liked and have gotten quality information from which has helped me self improve in Life and remembered the Affiliate Program and decided to give it a go.

I've signed up for the European version but I do believe that the American one has the most traffic and it would be a shame if I would not try to figure something out.

Thank you for helping in advance!

Yes. And I fully vouch for Payoneer.

It used to be possible to do so. They weren't super strict a few years ago in verifying all of that info - although, things may have changed.

Much more money to be made from the U.S. side of things. I'd suggest both accounts.

Payoneer is excellent.

Amazon.com Affiliate Program Question

Amazon Affiliate program is a nice addition in the sense you can sell almost any product out there and everyone trusts Amazon but you really need to be getting giant traffic in order to actually make any real money. There's typically better affiliate programs out there than Amazon

You will have to fill out an IRS interview. The only thing they care about is that you are not a US resident for taxation purposes.

Amazon.com Affiliate Program Question

If anyone is interested in Amazon affiliate program it's worth checking out Ali Express affiliate program. 8% base commission up to 50% on some categories. Only downside is fairly recently they went from a 30 day cookie to a 24 hour cookie now down to a session based cookie which sucks.

Amazon.com Affiliate Program Question

I'd like to thank everyone for their replies.

I've troubleshooted the problem and it's a bit of a bizarre dilemma.

Even though my country is listed as eligible, Amazon cannot proceed to make the needed phone call due to 'technical' reasons.

It's already been brought up by multiple users from my country but the only reply so far is that they are working on it.

Is there a way to get an international phone number via the internet? If not, I'll jump over the border to get a prepaid SIM phone card if need be.

After that I'll use Payoneer.

^^ Dude, relax. Don't jump over the border or anything like that.

Build your website, get good traffic to it, and then worry about monetization. Don't put the cart before the horse. Because I can tell you, getting traffic is going to be a lot harder than signing up for an affiliate program.

It's not a hard thing to do when you are living in Europe with the nearest border about 2 hours away.

I'll be following your advice but I'll have to solve this problem someday, somehow - besides the one with getting traffic, ha-ha.
