Okay, I recently spent two weeks in the Philippines. The short version of my report is that if your white, single and male you need to get your @ss there NOW!
A little about me so you understand where I’m coming from. I just turned 40 but I look 30, I have a slim athletic build. I’m 6 feet tall and have blue eyes, my hair is dark. I’ve been called kind-of-cute to handsome. I would say my looks are average. I’ve studied pick-up for awhile now but I’m not a hardcore sarger. While I like dancing and going to clubs I don’t go when I’m single, only when I have a girlfriend. I don’t like trying to pick up in noisy environments and I’m getting too old to hang out in bars for nothing. I’m not The Mayor, I do my pick ups via daily business or online. I’m good at the online thing and it works for me. I’m NOT an approach machine like a lot of posters here.
I’ve been interested in Asians for quite awhile, I find them very attractive and feminine. I then dated a Filipina here in the States that turned into a fiasco but even so she had some qualities that made me decide I should visit the Philippines. I used the free dating site
http://www.dateinasia.com to make some Filipina friends, there are a ton online there. My original plan was to hop around the islands a bit and date a new girl every couple days. That plan is very easy to do as Filipinas love Americans, especially light skinned ones. Aside from the thought that your rich, a holdover from the Spanish occupation is that light skin is seen as more attractive and higher class. The number 1 selling products over there are skin whiteners, EVEN FOR MEN. When I ran out of face cleaner there I had a hell of a time finding one for men without whitener in it.
So going in they think we’re rich and attractive, due to American movies and TV they see over there they think we’re more romantic and less likely to cheat on them too, which is rampant with Pinoy men. Add to this that English is taught along side Tagalog and you have a Perfect Destination for a little getaway. The Philippines is cheap too once you get there. I had a very large suite with air conditioning and a huge bathroom for $50 US a night with free breakfast. When I stayed at the beach resort I had a brand new room with air conditioning for the same price. This was with private guards to patrol the beach and the grounds. You could get far cheaper rooms too. The “expensive” resort meals were like $4 US a piece. Wandering down the beach to the public area, which was a party day and night you could eat for a dollar or two. Same in the malls, known chains like Pizza Hut are no bargain but wander over to the littler places and you could eat well for a $1-3 US.
Getting from point A to B is cheap as well. I traveled by Jeepney, Trike and Van. I felt safe at all times, if you take a Jeepney it’s less than a quarter US to go across town. If the van has other passengers you can travel for a couple hours for a couple bucks. The cool thing about Jeepneys too is all the cute girls getting on and off them. The women in the Philippines will eye-frak the hell out of you wherever you are. But when you’re a Kano(Americano) riding a Jeepney they get to eye-frak you up close and personal. Trust me, they’re doing it. Wear your sunglasses and you’ll see them stare at you like a piece of meat, until you look in their direction and then they’ll pretend to look somewhere else. Turn away again while using your peripheral vision and they’re ogling you again.
It’s crazy in the malls, which is where you should be going. A lot of Pinoy can’t afford A/C so nights and weekends they hit up the malls to hang out in the cool. When I was walking around I was getting smiled and eye-fraked like a Rockstar, even with my Filipina Sweetie on my arm. If one girl saw me she’d jab her friends and they’d all be staring and smiling. Then wander into the big stores like Ace Hardware or Robinson or SM(like Macey’s here). At the end of almost every aisle is a cutie under 25 whose most likely single, and in heels, skirt and blouse, whose sole job is to help you with the items on that aisle. Did I mention that fat young Filipinas are rare? They tend to be either lithe slim, petite and feminine to curvier, luscious assed and boobs models. And those smiles.
Due to the dominant Catholicism the women tend to be somewhat shy, but don’t let it fool you. You may have to break the ice and things might start a little slow but once things get rolling, watch out. Pinay are very passionate and feminine and sexual. Just not at first. IMHO they are tight, clean and want to please their man a lot. They also tend to fall in love fast and deep, so be honest and clear with your intentions.
They all have cellphones, texting is cheaper than calling. Buy a cellphone with load(pay as you go) for like $50US and ask to be her texting buddy. Or use Naughty Nomad’s little handwritten phone number gambit(I think would work great there!). It’s all too easy. It’s really crazy I felt like a Rockstar, I knew how a Perfect 10 felt strolling the mall back at home. I’m an average looking guy with fair skin, yet what is unremarkable here in the States is sought after over there. I don’t recommend going to Angeles City or Subic or any of the P4P places, it’s just not needed and risky. Go to the mall and get a “good” girl who will probably end up doing what the pros do for free.
Some advice. From everything I’ve read stay out of Manila, its just dirty and full of pickpockets. I roamed the province of Batangas and only got begged for money once, and I felt safe the entire time. I took Roosh’s advice and took a probiotic everyday and never had any stomach trouble. I drank only bottled water(it’s cheap) but I did have drinks with ice at the malls and resort with no issues. Bring toilet paper with you. The general public is so poor that public restrooms have no TP, so buy some in the store and bring with you everywhere. Hand sanitizer isn’t a bad idea either. Also condoms and aspirin are widely available, but Excedrin (or any aspirin, caffeine + pain reliever mix) is not available. Learn a little Tagalog. If you can even just nail the first 10-15 lessons of Pimsleur’s Tagalog it will work wonders. Pinoy are SO impressed that an American would even attempt to learn the language it builds a lot of Goodwill.
Pinoy men don’t seem bothered by us pillaging the women. At the beach I got invited to drinks and such. One thing though, is face is important here, Pinoy don’t like to fight but if it gets to that point, it’s SERIOUS. As in, he’ll get a bunch of his buddies and they’ll come after you with Bolos(machetes). Also the Philippine Sun is no joke. Bring some high SPF from home as they don’t have the good stuff there. The Philippines is an interesting mix of Asian, Spanish and American culture, and it seems stuck in the 80s which to me made it even cooler. Karaoke is King, even at the beach. They are big into Journey (especially now that the lead singer is Pinoy) and 80s ballads like Wham’s Careless Whisper. In fact, if you can do a decent Karaoke rendition of any Journey song or Careless Whisper I bet Filipina panties would combust within a mile radius.
I want to end by saying I was very impressed by the Attitude of the people there. Despite their poverty they are a happy, fun loving people. They live life very day to day, for better or worse.
