Delete yourself from the internet with deseat.me

For those of you who wish to reduce your internet footprint, there is now an app for that.

Delete yourself from the internet by pressing this button

Swedish developers Wille Dahlbo and Linus Unnebäck created Deseat.me, which offers a way to wipe your entire existence off the internet in a few clicks.
When logging into the website with a Google account it scans for apps and services you’ve created an account for, and creates a list of them with easy delete links.
Every account it finds gets paired with an easy delete link pointing to the unsubscribe page for that service. Within in a few clicks you’re freed from it, and depending on how long you need to work through the entire list, you can be account-less within the hour.

I imagine it would be useful for finding those accounts you forgot about long ago to rid yourself of them.

If you used the service, please talk about your experience.

I am afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters all the same. They love being dominated.

Still really buggy. Just tried with Chrome and Firefox and I'm getting some redirection problems. Similar complaints written on Product Hunt.

Doesn't work for me. Stuck on the Google Account Picker in Chrome and there's a redirect loop on Safari.

Thanks, that's useful, but I'd prefer getting a full list of the accounts than having to indicate one by one if I want to keep it or not.

@wille_dahlbo The idea behind this application is really good ! However, I expected this to delete all of my accounts automatically and saw that it just directs me to deactivation pages. Made me a little bit disappointed :/

Edit - Nevermind, it works now. Will report back later.

Maine and Canadian lobsters are the same animal. Prove me wrong.
