Hey guys off to Cali for a few days.

I will only be around 3 days and wanted to see the city but also get a feel of how receptive girls are compared to let's say Medellin.
So far only have chipichape shopping mall in my list close to where I am staying (San Antonio). Any other good place to meet girls during the day?

Also - if anyone is around this weekend let me know.

Cali isn't the best for day game, it's almost like all of the hottest women are hiding somewhere and only come out at night on the weekends, there really isn't a barrio like Poblado where you see lots of young, attractive women during the day. You'll see people in San Antonio but they'll mostly be back packers and hostel hippies, I suggest going on a big walk of the northern part of the city:

Safe upper class tour:

-Starting in San Antonio walk to El Penon (ten minutes), there's nice restaurants here good for lunch and it's nice at night, upper class locals will be hanging out there.

-From there cross the river and walk to Centro Commercial Centenario (five minutes), also a nice area, mall isn't anything special.

-Cross Avenida 4 and walk up by the Marriot hotel then continue on calle 10 to avenida 9, then you'll be in Granada. Walk along avenida 9 to Starbucks and you should see some action there but it will depend on the time, this area is busy from after 5pm. Take some time to walk around Granada, there's some cool restuarants, pubs, etc. This is the best area to take a date, although El Penon next to San Antonio is good too

-From there continue walking along Avenida 6A to Chipichape mall, about 20-30 minutes but it's also a quick taxi.

Myself, I find the upper class to be a bit boring so option B is:

Scotian's working class ghetto tour: I always smoke a big reefer before doing this, which you can find anywhere in the San Antonio park by asking chiclet vendors "tienes porros"? You may want to remain sober though your first time, leave jewellry and cell phone at home:

-Walk from San Antonio to iglesia San Francisco, by crossing avenid quinta and a bridge. Sometimes there's things going on there like concerts

-From there walk to plaza Caicedo, there's always people there: hookers, vivacien and tinto vendors, snake oil salesmen selling homemade natural remedies that cure cancer and give big boners, etc. I get my shoes shined there, smoke darts and read the newspaper.

-Then walk to 3-4 blocks into the epicentre of craziness which is basically a huge market full of Chinese shit where the locals come to buy cheap stuff, you'll see thousands of people. Basically it's Cr 5 con calle 14. Walk around looking at stuff, drink coffee, have a cheap lunch and try to stay safe from pickpockets.

-This is where I was called a monkey by the locals for the first time, I didn't realize that the Colombia slang word for a fair skinned person is mono (monkey) especially if you're blond, then you're like a super monkey. Needless to say I was a bit perplexed and laughing my ass off when three afro-Colombian vendors were all yelling at me "mono, mono, mono a la orden buen pueda!!!" Last year a chica literally grabbed me and dragged me in her store to try on jeans, taking a super gringo there (tall, blond or ginger) is insane, the people go nuts screaming monkey lol

Just be careful, shit gets real there, stay where the crowds are, I took a turn down a wrong street there last year while walking around aimlessly and baked, almost got jacked, had to walk away very quickly.

Maybe you'll get lucky and see some live entertainment (this is exactly where I'm suggesting you go):

If that isn't your cup of tea then you can try the south to and hit up CC Ciudad Jardin, it's a bit far but it's upper class, I don't really know the south too well.

Near San Antonio is the Cat Park (statues), you can hit that up on the way to the zoo which is very nice, great place to get baced and watch monkeys (real ones, not gringos).

Night game: worst city in Colombia to go out as a single guy without chicas

Dinner in EL Penon or Granada, then 10-1am at a place like Bourbon Street in Granada or Cantina la 15 you will see hotties. I like Route 66 for cheap cocktails and wings before 9pm.

Then off to Menga for the after hours big clubs but you need chicas to get in to the best spots like Lolitas, if not hit up Cafe Mi Tierra its a huge club with big outdoor patios, it's like 3 clubs in one it's free entry so attracts a lower class crowd, my favourite type.

If Granada is too fancy then try la Sexta, hit up El Viejo Barril from 8-12, then El Mayor 3 blocks away but keep your wits about you, people get stabby around there, it's where Rottenapple and I got into a brawl, right in front of the Western Texas Grill jajaja. If you're really adventurous then hit up Juanchito but it's far and you may see violence, I've never been there, it's that bad apparently.

Have fun in Cali bro, hit up online, day/night game suck there but obviously if there's a will there's a way. Calenas are fucking cool ass chicas and like to fuck but bring strong dick game as they can take a serious pounding

@scotian this is gold thank you so much.
I might skip the ghetto tour as I am rolling solo and I kind of like not getting stabbed on top of my head like the guy in the video.
I might just check that market though as its always fun to visit markets where you find weird and/or stolen stuff.

I only heard bad things about Cali nightlife so I won't bother unless I get a date there.

@joeocolombia parcero I know we spoke a few times in the past, hopefully next time we'll manage to meet up lol

Just hang out in San Antonio, Granada and el Penon in the evening there’s some nice spots to eat and have a few drinks. The locals are pretty friendly but you have to be wise in your approach, similar to Medellin the group/table dynamic, it’s not impossible to break into if your Spanish is good and you’re not a weirdo lol.
