An interesting mental exercise for those on Test.

This should be interesting.

For those of you on test (either cycle or TRT) who are spinning plates or have a girl in your life. Try this.

Crash your test cold turkey. Just bomb it.

You'll be able to see your bitch in a new light. You may gain a new perspective on what you value about her without the cloud of your horniness tinting your view.

Trust me it's an eye opener.

This is foolish advice.

Your body's hormones, unlike the women you have sex with, are not something to toy around with.

Do your research on cycling/TRT/PCT well before making this very serious decision in your life, rather than experimenting to satisfy some juvenile/whimsical desire.

Wrong.

You can toy with all of them, if you have the balls (or lack thereof).

Fixed for you.

Steelex, have you done this? Instead of foolishly daring men to cut hormone treatments and risking their health, how about you tell us about your experience.

At about 8 months into doing 250 mg/week of test enanthate I was called out to an oil rig in the middle of the ocean where they check all belongings brought on board so I couldn't take my needles and vial of street test. By the end of it I was a bit sluggish but overall didn't feel too bad, how long does it generally take for a guy to crash his test levels?

Totally depends on the guy and the dose. It also has to do with the length of time he's been on and other compounds he may have been on. Testicular atrophy is a factor, as is age. A younger guy can bounce back quicker due to his natural LH and FSH production levels, and may barely crash at all.

Case in point, I've got some either bunk or fairly underdosed test right now. Definitely crashing. Sex drive is totally not there.

The interesting part is it sort of allows me to see how I feel about a woman without wanting to smash her out. Without that prime motivator there, you see everything through a different lens, and get a more accurate view of her other traits.

It's like everything tastes great when you're starving. But it's when you're full you can begin to really say "oh yes that may have been over seasoned".

Same thing with a woman you might have a moment where you say "wow, we actually don't click on much at all, and without my drive to pound her into the mattress I don't really enjoy my time with her." Or vise versa "wow she's very enjoyable to spend time with even without sex".

Eye opener.

It is possible to go cold turkey, you are not going to die or anything, in fact this is what happens to many users here where the doc prescribed every 2 or 3 weeks (mountains and valleys).

However I think is easier to think about her imediately after sex or jerking off, when most "motivation" goes away.

Several people in history have had an experimental mindset and turned out fine.

Low testosterone and the 'unbearable symptoms' are simply overblown in my opinion. Of course everyone is different so everyone should weigh the risks.

All information in this post is for entertainment purposes only.

A friend decided to run Test Cyp a few years ago for 16 weeks at a dose of about 200 mg per week and quit cold turkey. Blood tests confirmed LH and FSH levels < 0.1 IU/L so HPTA shutdown had occurred. The subject felt lethargic, however seemed able to function to get through day to day activities. 8 weeks later, TT levels were back in the 700s. No Clomid, no Hcg, nada.

Here's an old study wish the full text was online.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1172906

Anyway in this study men young men were given 250 mg of Test per week for 21 weeks, then the treatment was stopped. In the study LH began to correct around the third week, although Testosterone took until around week 10 to correct.

With a healthy person aka someone who hasn't been abusing anabolic steroids for a long period of time even if you do NOTHING, your system will eventually self correct. Of course there are lots of factors, age, length of suppression, overall health etc.

Also I've personally tested low due to what I believe is overtraining, stress, and lack of sleep. I felt more tired than usual but not much else, and libido was still fine. So take that for what it's worth.

Whether you recover from the use of exogenous test has a whole lot to do with how you were before you started. If you already had horribly low T before then chances are your not going to recover.
