I'm visiting Rio next month for a couple of days and would like to meet up with other guys from this forum if everyone's there at the time.

Next to day gaming like there's no tomorrow I'd like to check out the local tourist attractions like big Jesus, take a helicopter ride, perhaps go on a boat or something. Still planning.

Just go to the beaches, man! You'll find a huge amount of beautiful 'garotas' wearing tiny thongs and ready for some action.

But be warned: you'll also see a ton of old men 50+ and above wearing speedos 2 sizes too small that will ruin your appetite!

A lot of young guys wear gay looking speedos too. Something you NEVER see on south beach, Miami. Unless you really are gay.

It's mainly the US that has a real homo-scare of speedos. They aren't really raising any eyebrows in South America/Asia/Europe.

This is social conditioning that has been forced upon you.

I can handle fat guys in speedos, I just wonder if I'll be stupid enough to get scammed, robbed or shot. Roosh writes in some blogpost that Brazil is for the experienced traveller. Not sure I'm that. Ah wells. Bring on the adventure.

Btw. would it make sense to go to a hostel first to meet some other travellers at first? Perhaps get a hotel on day 3 or 4?
