At least five wounded in knife attacks, culprit is 25-35 and a manhunt is in progress. A 64 year old woman is in the hospital with non-threatening injuries, a teenager was mugged by the assailant, and three more have knife wounds of unknown severity. As always, motives are as of yet unclear.

I shudder when I remember I made a 1-week business trip to Germany last year.

There's no way in hell that I'm again visiting Western Europe in the near future. If my superiors consider sending me there again, I have a polite "thank you, but no" in store for them. They can instead send me to Poland or Russia all the time.
