The purpose of this thread is post tribute to someone you really respect and admire.
It came to me because my 94 year old grandfather passed away yesterday evening and I want to pay tribute to the great man that he was. He always has my utmost respect and admiration due to his dedication to life and family.
The man had suffered defeats but many more triumphs. Lost his spot on a college football team due to bad grades only to leave college to become a decorated Lt. in the Air Force during WWII. Rejoined school to become a pharmacist and built a familial patriarchy every man would be proud of.
I love my grandfather. And send him off with his favorite song.
