Marty, but once my bet on Matchbook (or any other exchange I use) has been been matched, it's matched forever, right? It can't be cancelled or subjected to some shady shit?

As expected, the odds against Trump plummeted almost 50% after NH, with his Republican Nominee down to just 2.7 : 1 against and his Republican President odds at just 6.4 : 1 against.

Hmm... my money is now on Cruz's odds improving substantially. His super-charged ground game could get him a win in SC, but SC is winner takes-all. I kinda hope he wins just to spice things up.

Usually betting is suspended if something is going on that has a major influence on said market. Otherwise people who have earlier access to information have a huge advantage. The markets will reopen once we have news on this primary.

Eel, yes it is. Otherwise Matchbook would lose all credibility. They don't (and shouldn't) care about the outcome, they get their commission either way. That's the beauty of the exchanges.

I'm honestly worried I won't get my money from 5dimes. I'm gonna make an easy $800 on this primary election (with $100) and perhaps another $1200 on the presidency. I hope these betting sites the cash to cover.

5Dimes is definitely going to pay. They aren't scum. Moreover these aren't even huge stakes. If they didn't want to give you your money, they wouldn't have accepted your bet or only with much smaller stakes. Nothing to worry about. Think of it this way: the bookie sets the odds, so that they make money no matter who wins. The odds reflect the public's opinion. Ideally they make the same amount regardless of the outcome. This of course rarely happens but still, it would be extremely stupid if they just took your money. They would lose their credibility and a good amount of their customers. I'd be willing to take 1.01 odds that you will get your money.

Trump now officially the most likely Republican nominee at only 1.917 : 1 odds (Rubio at 2:16 : 1 ) . Cucks on suicide watch!

I'm sure glad I got my bets in at 10 : 1. As the saying goes in Croatia, "tko je jamio, jamio je" ("let each keep what they grabbed, there's no more").

My only regret is that I didn't get more money in and sooner.

Glad these betting sites are around, except for the scammers of course.

Lots of guys in the manosphere make predictions, but with bets like these, now you've got real skin in the game.

Lol that was a bad bet. Luckily most of my money is on Trump. I might double down on the General where a Trump win is six-to-one.

Yo fellas, check out this site, legal betting in American politics:

https://www.predictit.org

I put down some bets on Trump taking Ohio and Florida tomorrow. Florida the safe bet and Ohio the reach bet.

Can someone list the sites that you can use as a US citizen? I can deal with IP detection by using a VPN, but I need to be able to use a US credit card to fund it, and need to be able to get my money (obviously).

I'm not one for any sort of betting. I'll keep my gambling to stock and FX markets.

However, I would love to see the results of those who did bet for Trump back in the summer of last year during the primary and general election. I hope we're talking massive payouts.

I just don't understand these odds as they now. Trump winning the general is still paying out 3 to 3.6 dollars. One of the betting sites is paying out 3.2 dollars if Hillary doesn't become president... These don't take into account the looming email scandal with the FBI which is going to burst before the democratic convention, possibly even after. These are pretty generous payouts considering trump is tied with Hillary in the polls.

To dig out this thread again:

PredictIt doesn't allow registration from outside the US. So let's say I know someone who lives in the US. Could I wire him some money, make him register an account and deposit the money on PredictIt and then gamble there myself? Or would I need some VPN or Proxy to mask my IP and make it look like it's coming from the US?

Got the first of my payments from 5Dimes. Trustworthy to me so far. They do use some sketchy operations to dodge US gambling laws but I couldn't are less.

Thank you Trump. You've already done more for me than Obummer and you haven't even been elected yet.
