I am still prepared to meet fellow RVFers on Saturday . I encourage anyone who feels the same to do likewise. Obviously that means changing the locations and protocols for meeting to a case-by-case, tailored to your local tactical situation basis.

Brothers in Europe who have to deal with professional anti-fascist groups who are state funded and can literally get away with murder may feel differently about meeting. You have my blessings on deciding to sit this one out.

If you can't or won't meet your fellow men on saturday, please do what you can to drive the enemy crazy with social media posts of false meet-up points, taunts, and and other deception practices. Like the others, I think you made the right decision, Roosh. I have never seen anything like those violent threats being made right out in the open on social media and new site comments sections (not to mention implicitly sanctioned by the media!)... not only to you, but to anyone planning to attend the meet ups.

This is only one battle in the grand scheme of things, and we should start thinking about how to plant more seeds for a more sustainable long term movement backed with power instead of trying to push for short term victories.

Forum members here have meet ups consistently. The whole point of this was to be a public meetup similar to calls from the other side "meet and gather here to show unity over w/e bullshit cause." Now everyone knows what they have to deal with.

It's a shame, I didn't see this event turning into a political battlezone. There was no meetup in my city, but I would have gone if there was. I would not have gone to discuss politics but to shoot the shit with fellow RVF members, so it is a dissapointment this got hijacked by the media away from its intent. At least there will be many new eyes on RVF and ROK in the future so not all is lost.

I'm disapointed but I understand why you had to do it, Roosh. The vitriol that built up just in the last 24 hours is insane. I don't think there's been this much coordinated online venom aimed at ROK since King Tut dropped his Fall 2013 masterpeice.

I noticed the forum is still private- that is, if you visit rooshvforum.network and you are not logged in, you CANNOT see any threads except for the ROK subforum.

I think this is GOOD IDEA and it should kept this way.

It is clear that our enemies in the MSM and SJW freaks are lurking on this forum and observing communications here. I believe that this, in part, contributed to the threats and manufactured outrage against this event.

Just yesterday, El Conquistador's Newcastle thread was mentioned in a UK mainstream news website.

That very same website published this article, on the SAME DAY, written by the same woman, and contributed to the threats against the Newcastle meetup which necessitated its' cancellation.

It's hard to say what attracted the attention of Ms.Doughty(she does look rather doughy doesn't she?) first, the ROK article, or the Newcastle thread. But there is at least a chance she would not have found out if she never found that Newcastle thread.

This is ultimately Roosh's descision, but I think he should seriously take this into consideration. In times like this, allowing hostile lurkers to read posts here essentially amounts to US Army commanders giving away the minutes of their meetings to the Taliban.

I still like the idea of a meetup. Perhaps next time just smaller scale, with less notice so SJWs and media have less time to prep. Say, a week out, you announce some meetups on the American west coast. Then a month later announce some meetups in Australia and UK with a week notice. Then two months later announce a few on the American east coast. Etc.

This is what I don't like about this outcome. This meetup was the domino that needed to fall which could potentially have led to very impactful results on the mainstream narrative. That said I get why Roosh did what he did.

Definitely disappointed, but let's stay positive. Even if the meetups were cancelled; this was still a victory for us and for Roosh. ROK and the forum received lots of attention. Who knows how many lost men have now heard our call and will soon begin their journey.

Those that still want to meet up, should. In our location, we simply changed locations to another side of the city and planned on meeting a little later after scoping out the SJW mob. We would have been the best dressed and frankly best looking guys there, nobody would've said anything to us. We could have our fun "what the hell are you talking about a petshop?" "why are all these people with coloured hair here?!" and still went on to have our meeting. Fuck it, we're still having our meeting.

On a side note, I think the ability to edit our own posts for a short amount of time might be beneficial. I know a lot of us have potentially given out a little too much information and it'd be a lot easier to clean it up ourselves then deal with the alternative of either not posting and hoping our material fades, or being exposed and facing the music. Making it more impromptu and locale specific seems like the best bet. It's the mainstream media articles that really set off a lot of facebook loonies.

While I doubt the SJWs would have done anything worse than the drink-throwing in Canada, with this event's media coverage it seemed increasingly likely that one of the meetups was going to get some kind of lone nut shooter. Then we'd get to listen to the media equivocate about it: "Oh well he was provoked because of the rape thing..."

A good point given the current situation, but isn't closing off the walls just going to make us look more like an extremist group? Nothing we say here is controversial - if we all agree on one thing here it's that progressivism is now running out of control and is destroying systems that have always worked for clearly observable and logical reasons throughout history.

I don't want to speak for Roosh, but it's always been my understanding that one of the primary reasons the forum is public (and should probably remain so) is because what we aren't the freaks or the weirdos who have to lurk in the shadows. We're being forced into the margins now and willfully accepting our own punishment by walling off is only going to make us look worse now that most of the world who's heard about us in the last 48 hours thinks we are a "pro-rape" group.

Roosh still got crazy amounts of media coverage out of it, and many men hopefully found RoK and the forum consequently. Some meetups will still be held in private and the rest will be reorganised later, so ultimately this was the right decision in my opinion.

SJWs can have their happy hour now (although the reactions to Roosh's cancellation tweet seem more disappointed than happy; no more emotional stimulation for the poor feminists, I guess), but when reports of the successful private meetings start rolling in and new tribes are established all over the world they'll all know we still won.

Realistically, they don't hate us at this point - they hate Roosh. They don't even know us. That means we can do whatever the fuck we want. Intentionally or not, Roosh is taking the heat right now so we don't have to. If 6 months from now if 4-5 guys meet up asking where they can find a pet shop and relocate to talk shop and BS, nobody's even going to take notice. They think they have us pegged but they still don't even know who we are, which gives us a lot of strength.
