It's hard to think of any greater evidence that the Canadian government is bought and paid for. It's an open secret, and it's been like that for a while.

I only pop my head into this thread every once in a while. Be proud Canadians, we are about to wrestle the mantle of being leaders of clown world from Sweden.

There's another comment in this thread about politicians who you can loathe. I can go down a full list of them.

Svend Robinson, the queer who stole an expensive ring? Pierre Trudeau - no explanation needed. Kathleen Wynne - again, no explanation needed. Rachel Notley. Just about every other screwball in the Liberal party today. They are ignorant loathesome hypocrites.

Rant over.

Christ,

Paul Martin was an obvious sellout. Like "hello fellow Canadians, let me set aside my Canadian businesses that could only gain from me being prime minister" He was a globalist sellout, wheras Mulroney was just an American Sellout.

Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? Psalm 2:1 KJV

Both Martin and Mulroney were, literally, Desmarais tools. As were PE Trudeau and Chretien. All of them were former Power Corp employees who were handpicked to rule in Ottawa. The Desmarais are the local heads of the globalist franchise, tightly linked with the Rockefellers (US) and Rothschilds (UK/US/Europe), with roughly the same pull as the Bronfmans.

Desmarais also placed Sarkozy in power in France, he was paid back with his brother becoming a partner in the Carlyle Group. Sarko credited him for his political career.

Here's something that will brighten your day up a bit. A regular dude who volunteered his time to work on sandbags during the flooding in his community goes off on little lord Fauntleroy. Apparently his photo opp was holding up the real work.

Those polls are way off. I know a lot of Liberal diehards here in Atlantic Canada, mostly EI bums and union workers, but the anti-Liberal sentiment is growing fast and people are getting vocal about how much they hate Trudeau.

The polls I go by have the Libs down by 10 points and growing.

There are also some swing seats up for grabs, which will also likely go Tory.

In all, the majority gov looks better with each minute this fool opens his mouth.

Liberals are looking for a big divisive issue to change the theme of the campaign from corruption and incompetence.

They got it, GUNS. Apparently our boy Justin might be having a joint conference with NZ Globo lesbo PM

I am guessing they will go after all the restricted guns. There is a link in the article which points to QP today, and the fact that the liberals want to do this without debate.

My town wouldn't let their guns get registered last time, I doubt they will this time.

Without some massive false flag where a bunch of Canadian flag waving, orphan refugee kids get massacred, Canadians are not dumb enough to think that guns in the hands of vetted folk are a problem.

Agree and disagree.

They are going to come after the handguns. All of these weapons are restricted and registered already. Note the message is from "shooters club".

In Toronto all the talk is about handguns handguns handguns.

I think this will be their target, restricted firearms. The laws are already ridiculously intense.

Gun issue in Canada is all made from.our leaky border where illegal guns have been crossing over for decades now.

There is zero reason to go after law abiding gun owners as they are not the problem. If the Government had any balls they would aggressively seal the border and make the criminal punishments for illegal handguns, so severe, that only a retard would try to attain one. Life long prison for illegal handgun procession. Period. Lock then up and let them rot. Do this and all these feral criminals with illegal guns would drop them in the river overnight.

Well said Kosko. However, I am more “harsh”. Those with illegal handguns, will be lined up against a wall and shot with that same gun. Then the human rights groups will complain. However, where are the human rights of innocent people who are victims of these guns? Yes, it’s used in between various criminals but, it uses up police time to investigate where they can use this time investigating white collar crime etc.

The current “corrections” system isn’t working, let’s bring in more of a Philippine president duearte way. Putting them in jail doesn’t work. Costs us money.

I would caution on this. The illegal handgun laws are often applied against legal restricted gun owners who struggle with the incredibly complex rules and paper work.

This is actually the reason I don't have a restricted firearm, fear of getting thrown in on an illegal handgun charge.

So if the law can properly separate these two things,
(1) relax the rules on legal handguns to be similar to long guns.
(2) while going after illegal handguns.

If both are done at the same time, then its a good law. If the law is used to push against the legal handgun owners at the same time.

Seriously?

I completely disagree. The workers at my last job were hysterical when they found out I was a hunter, never mind what weapon I used to hunt (30.06). If they knew I owned a handgun they probably would have tried to have me arrested.

I talked with my outfitter family about this when I was up in the Yukon for a family reunion last summer. They all have their restricted - of course - and is 100% used for personal protection. From beasts. For some perspective, there are more people in Gastown than in all of the Yukon. My families concession is the size of Switzerland with 9 permanent residents. The government had a guy drive 9 hours out to their staging camp and check all their pistols to make sure they were locked, unloaded, and in a hand safe. Luckily they were at the staging camp so they were secure - perhaps the gov man knew this. But still, there is 0% chance to defend their families and clients if these pistols were kept how they are supposed to be. Once in the bush, they go on the hip.

I fully believe that Little Potato will throw such a cluster bomb into the incoming Tories. He is the spiteful human we all called him out to be, and he has zero association with Canadians after this. I doubt we will ever see much of him again unless his masters need to keep him cute and cuddly like a gay Where's Waldo.

Unless you are overlooking the harbour, my sympathies... [Image: smile.gif]. Loved Vancouver in the 80's. Won't go back now.

Thanks but left that job a few years back. Independent contractor much farther north now. Much better. Less sanctimonious crazies but many more entertaining crazies here.

Maybe I found a special group of crazies but it has been my experience that almost everyone in the urban area (Maple Ridge) was reflexively "Guns Bad". Then again, one was actually stupid enough to say I should buy my meat from the store because hunting was cruel. She had NO clue where her food came from.

Gun Rights are on the decline in Canada. I haven't seen Scheer really push to loosen anything. At least Harper vowed to scrap the registry and did it. I think the best Scheer will do is push back against any law change Trudeau puts in, but they are not trying to take things back to Pre "Ecole Polytechnic" days.

I think a lot of the attack on gun rights will happen in the cities, where gangs use guns and the people are easily frightened.

In Toronto, there used to be a gun range at union station right downtown. 5 minute walk to Bay Street. Mayor David Miller banned got rid of all gun ranges in the city. The article below details this, and how they kept the sportsman (gunshow) show out of exhibition place.

Fucking pussy city folk

This article in the National Post actually changed my opinion on Trudeau.

Baby Momma Margaret Trudeaus' Live sluttalk on Mothers Day

I look at what a good mother is, and how a good mother raises good children, in large part through example. Then I look at Justins' mother being the opposite of this archetype in almost every way. All things considered he didn't turn out that bad.

Lets take a look at some quotes from the Mothers' day article setting a good example.

There was definitely no love affair with Fidel or Mick Jagger
Quote:Quote:

Many, based on the crowd’s audible reaction, did not expect to hear that one of those comforting her at Pierre Trudeau’s funeral had been Fidel Castro. But they were hooked, if only for the relentless celebrity name-dropping — Mick Jagger, by the way, “was an elegant ass”

Being there for her children, making a good home life
Quote:Quote:

There was no feeling that Trudeau, who herself was the daughter of a cabinet minister, feels overshadowed by the prime minister today. Nor did it feel like her guests cared much for tales of his childhood when she could regale them about sex and drugs in the ‘70s

Unvwavering Support of her husband as our nations leader
Quote:Quote:

She’d famously danced at Studio 54 the night Pierre lost re-election in 1979. Then, as now, she has a knack for a headline — and her bubbling, candid style of oversharing, so unusual for a fixture of Canadian public life, is as in vogue in 2019 as disco once was.

How she overcame adversity in her life
Quote:Quote:

You could argue that Trudeau’s anecdotes lacked self-awareness or humility — few can relate to a shopping trip to Montreal escalating into a four-day jaunt to Paris, then, because why not, a holiday in Crete. “My life has been extreme,” she acknowledged. “Most people will not have the experience I’ve had. But the things that changed me, really changed me, they happen to everyone.” Later: “Every life is extraordinary.”

Newfie Election 2019:

Liberals down 7 seats, downgraded to minority government. (+1.3% popular vote over PCs)

Libs. have the strongest leader who I think would be PC but went Liberal as the writing was on the wall for PCs at the time.

PC's were run by a man that looks like he should be a Undertaker or in a morgue, but is years younger than Trump (I think he's a closet Homo)

Didn't help the PCs cucked out and kicked a man out of the party for being anti-anal marriage and pro-life. Stopped me from voting for them.

This was the best outcome given the shit we had to choose from. Oh well. Going to get my pogey checks.
