Ive been chatting with a girl who lives there for months. She was going to school in Medellin and got a job that took her back to the island. She says its so dangerous that she doesnt want to go out at night and there is a huge drug problem.
She also said that they speak more english there because it was settled by britts. I can ask whatever you want because we talk everyday.

This is not really the time to head to San Andres as it is very low season, and you will not find an abundance of targets to game. SAI is a January thru April hotspot, and dies completely after Easter week until Christmas week.
So, adjust your game plan accordingly.

Never went to SAI alone...the night life can be really dead during the off season....You might want to change your plane ticket to come back sooner.

:How are the locals of SAI? (Character, Languages, "Creole"?, Socioeconmic status?...)"
The locals of SAI are black or mixed...they are nice to tourists and a surprising amount of them speak english...their socioecomic status is on par with the small town folk of Colombia.

Gents,
I just came back from a 4 day weekend trip to San Andrés. Got my Porto Alegre flag at Viajero hostel.
I will make a report as soon as I enter the Lounge at the El Dorado airport
The harder you practice, the luckier you get.
