So..

To those that have visited for a sizable amount of time Metro Van or have lived in the area what do you think of the climate in a game and political sense? What did you find in the area most challenging, easiest, and interesting?

Have you been recently in the post secondary education community? What did you like? What did you find challenging? What disgusted you?


Are any of you in the Vancouver area available via this forum or other means as, for lack of a better word, coaching and advice?


I'm currently studying at a local university. The first class of this term I am taking is a course on the European Middle Ages. The instructor went right ahead by saying in the beginning of the class that she studied gender in that age far as I remember. Then one of the homework assignments has some of the people trying to find out a Marxist interpretation of the fall of Rome. The composition was striking too. Quite a lot of the wimminz. Most of them attractive. I had to do group assignments and I was the only dude at the table. There was a default mother hen. She was way, way, way past hitting the wall. Just god awful. There was one I like to call big ass titties. Well enough of the vulgarities.

Interesting note:

We were all asked an "ice breaker" question: " Who, living or dead, would you want to have at your dinner table for conversation?" I said Heinz Guderian. They were puzzled. I was asked why. I stated that he was a genius. I have recently read Panzer Leader and it was great so that had an affect.


So TL;DR

What do you think of Vancouver, what do you think of the universities in Canada and by extension the USA and Europe, what are some tips on getting laid, and also what are some tips on navigating through the people and not ending up as the next SJW victim?

Oh! And one more thing.

Do you guys think Roosh will ever visit Metro Vancouver? Is he up for the challenge after the great victories in Toronto and Montreal? I think he should go for the hat trick and to meet him would just be great.

Metro Vancouver is the surrounding area of Vancouver and its neighbors. The metropolis rather than just the city proper. One part is the city of Surrey which is the cesspool of the entire area other than the downtown east side.

Places like Richmond, Delta, North Van, West Van, Burnaby, etc.

I'd love to have people in the area to hang out and discuss things with in an environment devoid of undesirable SJW types. The majority of the people I know in my area are pretty politically correct. Its difficult to find common ground with them I'm very interested in North American and European history and it would be cool to discuss that and many other topics in a group of folk that I can converse with,

I've never been to the city, but have a friend who lives there. He said that the fact you can use public transit and access the whole city within 15 mins of driving or walking to most of the important places means that you don't waste a lot of time in traffic like LA or Chicago. It is on my cities to visit list.

Well if you live near Downtown Vancouver public transit is really handy. You can easily hop on the sky train to get around or on the many bus routes. Its a walk able area in some parts. Don't go around the DTES but yeah. You could easily take a bus from the core or walk to Stanley Park from there. I lived in suburbs so I had to bus in and take the skytrain but overall if you know the system its easy to get around. Just have to set aside some time.

There are also the growing number of African, Middle Eastern, and the already established and growing ethnic enclaves of Surrey,( Punjabi Sikhs) and Richmond, ( Mostly Chinese). Yet even if you point out the facts that the demographics have changed you run the risk of being demonized.


IMHO The Metro Van area is not going to be a "safe place" lol for the right wing type of people and any kind of European descended nationalists. The scenery, the amenities are great. The weather can be crap in the winter, fall, and spring but the place is alright to live in. People are moving into the area in numbers which may ruin some things. Infrastructure has to be invested in to accomadate new people.

We are getting some migrants only a few thousand or more in the next year far as I know. Its not a huge deluge like that of Germany's situation but I think that those that have already arrived have established a beach head. If they can start their own little enclave then more will come and make it larger provided that its easy for them to get to the area.

So we will have to see what will occur in the area. But it is one of the most socialist, even Marxist places in Canada.

People outside the city pay a premium to live among other WASP's.

Like White Rock, white people love it and brown people (in Canada this means people from India and isn't considered racist) think it's too overpriced and with the zoning laws they can't build monster homes for 15 people to live in the house. But now the Chinese are slowly creeping in there, either moving from Richmond or overseas investors.

Part of the reason Vancouver has a big homeless problem is that it's the only major city in Canada where you can live outside in the winter. Try being homeless in Toronto as it creeps down to -20 or more.

Indeed. Surrey has been considered an inexpensive place to live in comparison to Vancouver but if you're on disability for example or the working poor its pretty much impossible to live on your own and be able to live comfortably. This is much harder when you have an addiction like smoking cigarettes. A pack is around 10 dollars depending on brand. Smoke a pack a day for a month... and that's about 300 dollars. I've known people and had neighbors that were below the poverty line due to personal problems, illnesses, and a lack of employment. Ugh. They could barely afford food, internet, hearing, electricity, etc. The cost of living continues to rise. I could rant about it for a long time.


Out in the general area there is a homeless camp that has refused to disperse even now that there are winter shelters and help to find permanent dwellings, and work, to get people on disability I think too and also support for mental health and addictions issues. I have actually seen the camp several times. Quite a lot of times actually as its on my route around town.

Yes a big indicator of what the population is going to be is the demographics of those currently in Primary, and Secondary Education. Its changed a lot since my day.

I've done survival exercises as a cadet in the Fraser Valley area. There's not much snow or very cold temperatures unless you're way up in the mountains in the middle of winter. Rain is the major issue but with a good tent and rain gear its quite possible to survive if you have something to eat and water to drink and there's plenty of those in some areas. I live more on the outskirts of the major population centres and there has been a rising number of homeless people. Quite a lot really.


I am in White Rock every so often and what you've said is true. The Chinese are creeping in for sure. Richmond is like the hive cluster and White Rock is a secondary hatchery that has been spawned near Vespense gas and minerals.

I like the climate for the most part. The rain is awful but I suppose the lack of blizzards or droughts is our reward for enduring it. That and the windstorms we have every year yet no one is prepared for.

There's also the constant threat of earthquakes. I'm a pretty jumpy guy and I sometimes get sketched out when the washing machine shakes the house.

My buddy and I go for walks and shoot the shit downtown in spring and fall fairly often (he's a pussy who can't stand the summer heat, while I love it) and we always see something new. The Crystal Mall by Metrotown has actual authentic Chinese food, and the same friend used to buy DVDs at a bootleg store to help him learn Japanese. Other then that I don't go farther then Burnaby or New Westminster since I hate crowds. It's why I live in Langley. Nice and quiet.

As for the girls? My limited experience has been either SocJus up north, fake cowgirls in the south and cute Asian girls somewhere in the middle. Interesting note, the website Fetlife is based here so if you're into that scene it's everywhere.

Its been quite a mild winter here up in the hills. There was some signifigant snowfall about two weeks ago? Its been mild and dry since. I am not a meterologist but somethings up for sure. I remember colder and more wet winters in the 1990s in the Richmond and Delta area.

Holy crap. The Crystal Mall. I've been there years ago. I was there with a friend that was trying to get a phone unlocked. That was in 2012.


I go to UFV in Abbotsford and so far I haven't really encountered much of the Social Justice Warrior crowd. I have seen that Lauren Southern woman from the Rebel Media. She takes courses there. Like damn..... Definitely cool because she's right wing and is also incredibly nice to look at.

In one class though I got into a heated exchange with an obvious ugly woman trade union member. A guy that in the first class called himself a socialist tried to defend her points. It was all to do with the migrants sort of thing. She was bringing in all the sads, our feels, poor migrants, such sad sort of points. I kept saying " Sophistry" because I had recently seen the Star Trek TNG episode when Picard says it in a discussion. I had to. When the Paris attacks happened there was a co incidental lack of discussion from them.

I went out west to Coquitlam today. Holy crap that skytrain is going up fast. Yikes. I've noticed there has been a remarkable rise in the population of asians there. Most of the towers there were not around when I was little. Alot has changed.

I actually went out with someone that was on fetlife and I was at two BBQs hosted by members. It was kind of weird but they were all very nice and pleasant to talk to.

Langley is nice. I like the countryside. Its got the basics covered there. I went to a hobby/games shop in Langley years ago that was cool. Warhammer and such. Cool beans.

I have found in my travels some lower tier wimminz that really appreciate the attention. I would ideally want a Lauren Southern kind of gal but I need to improve my stats, buffs, and gear before then. Even then though it is very difficult to find wimminz with a good intellect, conservative in a way, and great looking.

Anyway, I've met a few Fetlife people, but the community as a whole is far too leftest neo-progressive for me, so I don't really get involved except for the occasional journal writing I do.

On unis: universities aren't known to be conservative and UBC/SFU/UVIC isn't any different.

On career: film/tech/greentech/RE are the dominant ones currently. Oil/gas/mining have been crushed.

On opportunity: Empirically, people start here and jump to bigger ships(cities). Very hard to get large here in all meanings. Obvious exceptions apply.

On lifestyle: related to the above. Depends if you are single and driven or settling and content.

hahahahah So true about Surrey, the place is a shit hole.

If you're into asian (fob chinese) women then Vancouver is a fantastic place.
There's a nice mix of everything though.

The public transit system is fantastic. You can actually get to most places and the buses have gps so you aren't waiting for a long time.

The club/night life is expensive. There's 12% tax though.

I used to live there years age and visit friends when i can.
It's very beautiful if you like the outdoors but unless you're making decent/reliable bank life can get pretty rough.

Good morning all - good discussion on Vancouver; thought I would offer my two cents as someone who has lived here on and off since birth.

Downtown Vancouver/North Vancouver/West Vancouver: These areas are populated by the most wealthy and entitled circles (all races, but more and more Chinese due to continued elite immigration). Running game in these areas is first of all expensive and the women are thick with entitlement. They do look amazing though (dress the part, work out). It can be expensive to walk in the door of most places (20 plus for cover and 15 dollar drinks).

South Granville / South Vancouver / East Van (Main Street): I have found this area to be a hidden gem - most of the women in this neighborhood are university educated and professional or attending university. For the most part very fit and intelligent, good mannered and well dressed (but not to the elite standard of downtown). Some sense of entitlement due to the rampant feminism at school and through the hoards of city beta males and orbiters that exist here. However, that is the KEY to these neighborhoods - having some game, taking action, having a job that doesn't start with barista and not being a hipster - a guy can clean up with these women. Most of these women of marriageable age harbor a deep desire to meet a 'real' man and there really are not many to be found in this part of the city that aren't hipster, gay or effeminate / beta. Therefore I would highly recommend spending time in these bars (cheaper as well as far more plentiful with quality women).

Burnaby / Coquitlam / New West: Not much experience here, very high immigrant populations, suburban, tough to get around. Not for me but have met a few girls through online. Hate the traffic.

Richmond: Almost 90 percent Chinese / Asian; not my thing but a good looking guy can clean up here I am told (if you're into that sort of thing). Lots of bars, karaoke, clubs etc. Great sushi. Day game works well I'm sure in the many malls (no personal experience however).

Surrey / Delta: Lower class area to be sure. A first stop for many refugees and new immigrants. Recovery houses are rampant, crime etc. Rent is cheap in these areas.Easy to find single moms, women of lower status / class / income. I find women from here just as entitled with much less to offer as far as looks, class, experience. Notch counts will be higher. Day game does not work well as many women have a 'hard' exterior to deal with the many degenerates. My advice is to avoid.

Langley / South Surrey / White Rock: Suburban locations, tougher to get out and meet organically. Almost all dating / pickup here now seems to happen online or at the few good bars. Women from these outlying, suburban neighborhoods are pretty easy to approach however out and about in the day or in the pub and online. Can be far to drive to / hard to access depending on where you live currently. Recommended however.
