Could these be useful apps for those wanting to park in Miami or Miami Beach?

^HAH

I could be visiting Miami around Late October/Early November. Would be meeting a tourist girl there who doesn't speak English so I'd therefore have responsibility of showing her around while sharing a bed (wink wink).

Yeah I know that's like "bringing my own sand to the beach", but going to use this as an opportunity to see more of Miami myself as education purposes.

I think our itinerary would be more built around doing cheaper shit. However, I am curious to learn about some "splurge" options namely these two places that appear to be exclusive possibly requiring dining reservations.

1) Seaspice in Brickell (Looks to be a Sunday fun day comparable to Bagatelle Brunch in NYC)
https://www.facebook.com/seaspicemia/?fref=ts

2) Bâoli in Mid-Beach
https://www.facebook.com/baolimiami/?fref=ts

We could end up skipping these places due to time constraints (likely better for wallet as well). However, just curious to know if anyone has been to any of these venues & what your experiences were like?

Also, would go Uber/Lyft to neutralize that horrendous Miami parking game of mine's...heh

Thx - Brosemite

What's the point of having a car or even using taxis? Stay in South Beach and walk everywhere.

^ only had one day last time in MIA, but wanna check out other areas such as the Gables, Coconut Grove, Doral, Brickell, Mia Beach of course, and Crandon Beach in Key Biscayne. Would be taking a girl around in this case too so gaming other chicks (touristy ones)with 120% effort likely out of equation

I hear you. I actually think a lot of Miami tourists miss out by heading directly to the beach, staying there, and never setting foot in other parts of Miami-Dade. At this point, having spent plenty of time in many different parts of Miami-Dade, Broward, and even Palm Beach County, I like to concentrate on South Beach as for me, girls' attitudes are way better on the beach than in other parts of South Florida (I've heard that is not so common) and the logistics are perfect in South Beach and I can therefore walk everywhere. I think that over the next few months, I will be doing more travelling that I typically do and some combination of Miami, Aguascalientes, Playa Del Carmen, and Santo Domingo is very likely. I think I've reached a point where I no longer need to spend 49-50 weeks per year in this shithole.

I am late to this thread but if you are in Miami go to Midtown and hit Bardot. Bardot is an art gallery by day that is a club at night. You can smoke weed there and it is open until 5am.

For going out on dates I prefer WynwoodMidtown area. There are a lot of bars restaurants etc. Plus you have Wynwood walls. And logistically speaking its better for me.

My favorite Sushi spot in Wynwood is SuViche.

My favorite restaurant is the Wynwood Kitchen and bar. It is an upscale trendy restaurant that is very reasonably priced. FYI make reservations. From there you can stroll out back and check out Wynwood walls.

Then later if you like old school hip hop you can hit Wood tavern or Brickhouse. If you feel like Latin music Caffiena or El Patio are good. If you want reggae the Wynwood yard usually has something going on during the weekends.

Here are some places I would recommend checking out on the beach.

My favorite Sushi place on the beach is Doraku. It is located at Lincoln Rd/Alton. It has really good sushi and not too pricey.

For Pizza go to Pizza Rustica also on Lincoln Rd.

If you want some upscale Southern Food Yardbird is really good I forget the address.

For something quick and spicy and different check out Siraha House located on Washington and 15th.Siracha house is asian style flash pan cooked noodles made to order with a bunch of different options.

A great place to go for a low key night out is the Broken Shaker. It is a Hostel with a large outside lounge area in the back by the pool. It also has and upstairs and downstairs bar and a restaurant. The upstairs has plenty of couches and chairs that are somewhat secluded. The selection of food is limited but good. The drinks are not expensive and the vibe is really chill.

Another good place for some good finger food is Bodegas. Bodegas is located on Alton and 15th. It is a fast food taco joint that has a speak easy bar in the back. You go through the port a pottie door. The bar gets really packed on Friday and Sat nights. It is free so you have to be there by 10:30 - 11pm to ensure getting in.

This year Halloween is on a Monday. My guess is everyone will start celebrating the Friday before. That would be a fun weekend to be here if you could fit it.

Stay frosty, not thirsty my friends.

Maybe slightly off topic – what about second tier cities in Florida? Any thoughts on spots with good logistics and crowd?

I'm heading to Miami on Tuesday. What places do you guys suggest going in Dadeland? That's where my hotel is at. 10-15 minutes south of the airport.

"This datasheet seems right but to say that the immigrants to Miami are educated as opposed to rich is a huge embellishment. The dumbest people in the United States on average, are in Miami. They are ignorant beyond imagine and uncultured. This cushioning afforded to them means they must only exist in Miami. If they went to other Northern cities, even New York, I feel they would get decimated by the harsh reality of life. It is even reflected in their driving protocol, this improves as one leaves Miami.

For the normal cat who isn't into posturing about being some Carlito, Scarface or hip hop mogul in order to seduce wannabe video vixens, your best bet in piping lizards is in hitting touristas who are there for a long weekend or a week. That's where my success lay. The locals are swine"

Funny. Yeah people in Miami are seriously dumb. Some of the Cuban locals are just super ignorant. That is not much different from immigrants in New York, they are uncultured too. However I do like Cuban culture and food. It beats the rest of Florida and the suburbs.

I like Miami a lot. I visit several times per year.

Give me a bit more detail about your trip. How long are you staying? Is this a business trip or vacation?

What type of ladies do you prefer Latin, black, White, European?

What type of music / club scene are you into?

Miami offers a lot of options.

Stay frosty, not thirsty my friends.

This is a business trip. I will be working everyday at the hospital there but after I take a nap after work I'll definitely be looking to turn up a little bit.

I like Latin and black girls. As far as music and club scene it honestly doesn't matter to me. I can do hip hop and/or too 40. I'm looking into places close to Dadeland as that's where I'm staying and I have a hotel there.

Most of the black girls on the beach side are either horrible, annoying prostitutes from landlocked shitholes or fat tourists. Inland, there are a lot of black caribbean girls, many of whom are quality.

Since you are in Dadeland I have a pretty good idea of where you will be working. There should be a lot of hotties working there. As far as night life in the local area.....The closest spot would be Blue Martini in Kendall on Thursday and Friday nights. However I have never hung out there so this is all here say.

I am just going to send you to the best bets.

Tuesday nights Black Bird Ordinary downtown Miami Industry night full of model and want to be model types mostly white with some curvy latinas sprinkled in.

Wednesday Night
Blue Martini (down town Miami) Nutin but Latinas mixed crowd young and milfs.

Thursday Night

Wood Tavern in Wynnwood section of Miami. Thursdays is Ladies night. Mostly black and latina outdoor venue old school hip hop vibe.

Brick also in Wynwood Latin Night.

Friday Night -Man to many options! These are the spots that locals go to.

Bodegas (speak easy in Taco Shop on south beach) It is free to get in so you must be in line by 10:30pm or be with a girl to get in. Mostly white women some European, Latin and black.

Recroom - South beach Free to get in if you get there early. If you show up after 11 - 30pm you will need to be accompanied by an even amount of women. Mixed mostly white. But the latin and black chicks that come there are fine as HELL!!

Broken Shaker - If you pull a girl from one of the other places but dont think shes ready to make that trip all the way back to Dadeland take her here first. Its a hostel, restaurant, a down stairs and upstairs bar. All connected to a huge lounge area around an outdoor pool. The food and drinks are good and you got a lot of cozy nooks where you can isolate an escalate.

Saturday Night - Your best bet is Wynnwood. Every second Saturday is the Art walk. And you sir are right on time!

Thats everything of the top of my head. If I think of anything else I will let you know.

If you want to meet up PM. I have been working on my business so I have not been out in a minute.

Everybody, both on and off the forum is talking about this Bodegas place. I haven't been back to Miami in a long time, but Bodegas seems like the kind of place that South Beach really needed.

Thanks my friend. I am going to check out all those places and see what pops off. I'll send you a PM tomorrow when I land in the city and pick my rental car. I'm also right down the street from the University of Miami so I know I'm going to have a good time. I'll definitely update this thread with the spots I went to as well.

Unless you need for it work. I would not recommend renting a car. You would be better off using Uber. Which will probably be cheaper than renting a car.

Parking is expensive and a pain in South Beach. And many of the drivers down here still drive like they are in there native countries, which is to say they dont obey traffic laws.
