Yes. Parasol up and Parasol down. Just thinking about them brings a smile to my face.

They both got mentioned on my favorite Las Vegas Spots: http://www.thegmanifesto.com/2010/06/las...pound.html

I see your point.

I guess one of the reasons I don't like Las Vegas clubs is because they are "oversold". Again, the people are that go are people that would wait in line in other cities. It kind of has a "SuperBowl of Partying" for regular people! vibe that I can't stand.

However, I will argue all day that one's chances of getting laid in Vegas with a really hot girl are far greater at a Gentleman's Club than at a nightclub, at least for a guy with a reasonable budget and a Custom Suit with Game.

Also, the main point of my post was that Vicious doesn't need to go to the clubs in Las Vegas. You made it seem in your earlier post that Las Vegas is tribal tattoos, Juicy Couture sweatpants, "grinding on the hunnies" and Affliction shirts non-stop.

A smoother side of Las Vegas does exist.

Actually it is pretty easy to find if you stay out of The Palm and Hard Rock.

But maybe that is just me. Then again, I like topless girls.

Vegas clubs are indeed overhyped. They're not nearly as cool as the marketing might lead you to believe. But hype attracts women and, therefore, Vegas clubs are full of women. I've personally had a great deal of success in these venues - if I hadn't I wouldn't be recommending them.

You're right in that pulling a hot broad out of a strip club is possible, but I think a lot of stars would have to align for that to happen. It's doable, but my opinion is that the odds of pulling an 8 out of a regular club are greater than pulling an equal or better quality girl from a strip club.

And yes, a smoother side of Vegas does exist. But Vegas is all about odds, and in my fairly vast experience of partying in the city, my observation is that one's greatest odds of pulling talent in Vegas are at a nightclub.

The chance to pull elsewhere certainly exists, too. We'll let the young Jedi decide how and where he wants to spend his efforts. Either way he'll have a great time, as Vegas is awesome and female opportunity abounds.

So after having done meticulous research on LV I now have made up something of a schedule. I couldn't believe my luck when I found out that my stay coincides with Restaurant Week!

The more I've dug into all the material, trip reports, data sheets, travel guides, forums etc etc I'm convinced that clubs will not do me any good. Vegas clubs are entirely centred around bottle service (of all European trends you had to pick up this one). Not being a big drinker this is completely uninteresting to me, doubly so because for the prices they put up for bottles I can eat a tasting menu with matching wine on any Michelin starred restaurant in town. Add to that the tales of overcrowding and loud music I don't see how I can have a good time in these clubs.

With that said I've located plenty of cool lounges and restaurants that are popular spots for people pre-gaming. It'll be fair easier standing out and conversing in that kind of place.

Well I'm off! A much deserved week is coming up. My goals are to eat lots of great food, soak up some sun at the pool and go BEYOND undefeated.

It is also so very fitting that this is my 500th post. On to newer heights.

Las Vegas - Labor day weekend

Lost my two first nights to jet lag, been unable to stay awake after 9pm yet. I'm getting some caffeine tabs and sleeping pills today to force a new rhythm if I have to. So I've been limited to day game so far where I'm rusty, shame Roosh haven't released his book yet!!! Got a couple of numbers but those don't mean a thing in a place in Vegas unless you've at least made out. With the Monday here most people are being replaced by newcomers anyhow. Luckily the gym is opened around the clock. Sadly, there are nothing but shriveled business men/women working out at 4am.

My hotel for the first part of the week is The Cosmopolitan. Right now it's one big frat party. At the pool the other day I even spotted a couple of guys with Alpha Sigma Omega tats across their backs. I thought it was a mirage at first. Can't complain about the quality of the girls however. Because of the heavy college/party population at the hotel I'm debating with myself if I should mellow my usual tailored get-up.

Wasted 20 min on a pro in the Casino until I figured out she was going for cash payment. Hot asian chick that played reeeeeal innocent. I wonder if I could have shored her, but my composure visibly suffered when the truth came out which killed the vibe. I kinda forgot about keeping a radar up for pros as I never see them in the places I usually go, unless they are more of the top shelf escort variety.

Random musing
*The superb Mediterranean Restaurant Milos at The Cosmopolitan will be my #1 go-to spot for lunch. Their Caprese was as good as anything I had of the sort in Rome or Barcelona. I was alone at the bar when eating at 1pm the other day though. At the same time, people are getting in hour-long lines to the buffet on the opposite side of the hotel. I realize I sound like a snob but: sheep!

*Speaking of lines. My personal policy of never standing in line for anything but cultural sights is going to be severely tested in LV. Lines everywhere...

*For the true G's, check out Mandarin Bar at The Mandarin Oriental hotel. Great setting, cocktails and service. The place to bring a date.

*I got some Clove cigarettes so I could use the best opener/isolation move ever (I use this in combination with stating that the TSA confiscated my zippo so that I can effortlessly transit the conversation to travel, where I excel). Problem is, there's nowhere to smoke in Vegas! I thought NYC was bad but this place is far worse. This hurts the day game since you don't want to spend too much time out in the sun unless you're at the pool.

Sun is finally coming up... time to go to "work".

Good one! Yeah, European hip hop is about as authentic as the boobs on the waitress at The Chandelier bar here at the Hotel (kind of a funny thing to drop money on when you're a waitress).

8 or 9 nights in vegas and your doing fine. Most people I know blow out after 3. If you never manage to stay awake past 9pm I'm taking a guess picking up a chick is going to be really difficult. My first night in I hang out at the rhino until 6 or 7am and I'm usually set for the rest of the trip. With the time change that usually makes for a 24 hour day. Naked girls do wonders for keeping you awake even if they are kind of busted.

Instead of trying to stay up late, take a nap, set your alarm and head out around midnight.

Interesting, I went to Cosmopolitan right after it opened and it seemed fairly classy. It felt a lot better taking a girl there than the other places I had been earlier that day. Never been there on a holiday but you should have a heavy LA presence out there next weekend.

Yeah, I would sleep at 9pm anyways.

3am is the Witching hour in Las Vegas.

That is when you need to start making moves.

I'm starting to formulate a theory that being an exotic foreigner is not a point in my favor in LV. Usually when going to any US city and hitting up the locals it's a definite plus being someone that puts that brings an exotic bonus to here weekday. When in vacation mode in Vegas however I am getting vibes that the American girl want the same dish that's serve at home.

So far my best success is with a fiiiiiiine german girl vacationing here that I have plans with for the night. If other foreigners is what I need to hit up to get some real action going, so be it. They are difficult to locate among all the static however. anyone got any ideas here?

Also, I've tried hard to give The Wynn a shot, but its been dead for two days now.

'I'm starting to formulate a theory that being an exotic foreigner is not a point in my favor in LV."

Ha.

It's definitely not in your favor.

A lot of girls in LV are from Southern California (or places that know even less about the world at large).

Your average girl in Southern California doesn't even know Europe exists.

I would wager the majority of them probably think that the "original Eiffel Tower" is the one in Las Vegas, not Paris.

You are going to have to find the more cultured girls there (not an easy task), maybe hit up some of the high end restaurants?

Summertime is going to make things rough.

Your theory had crossed my mind before. I was thinking of how short girl's attention spans are in LV, and how it may not register that they are talking to a cool European dude. In Vegas, because they are only there for the weekend, girls might tend to gravitate towards familiarity in terms of guys...built in comfort.

The German girl sounds like she has potential...probably a lot more interesting than your typical Vegas party girl.

Yeah, no way being foreign would really help your cause in LV.

Possibly being British might help, but only because it would be somewhat familiar to girls, and they probably have "seen someone talk like that on TV".

Yeah it sucks to bang tourists when you could be doing the natives. But I do what I have to do to get the bang. In the end that's all that matters.

German girl went home to Dusseldorf today, could easily have sticked it out with her for the rest of the week but that's life. So now I'm approaching again. I no longer have any illusions about doing any quality true "seduction" (at lack for a better word) here in LV. The one good thing about Labor day coming up is that I'm going to be in a target rich environment and I'm just going to play a very aggressive, direct numbers game (which is the opposite of what I usually do)

By the way, thanks for all your feedback and tips guys. I should have listened to the G and not gone in the summer, it's tough to rock a suit in this heat (and everybody asks if I'm the manager or work at the place).

I went to the Spearmint Rhino (with Dusseldorf I might add) which was a first for me and a cool place. I did my homework and read up on Gs advice which served me well. While she was getting a couple DD's rubbed in her face (true, close contact which I didn't see any guys getting)I was chatting with the dancers. I believe I could have pulled off a threesome for no more fee than eggs benedicts offered in the morning, but Dusseldorf bowed out. Breaks my heart. She made good later in the night though propped up against the rails on my suite terrace overlooking City center.

One thing I realized about SR (and strip clubs in general I guess) is that it is the perfect environment to practice any gimmick, joke, theme or storytelling because you can be field testing the same lines at such a high rate that you'd never get in a club/bar. Granted the dancers are conditioned to always give positive replies no matter what you say but you can pick up on the nuances if you watch them close. Especially the ones that don't speak that good english.

Re foreigner guys in Vegas. I think one problem is that most of the chicks there are from California and they go to Vegas a lot. So they are use to the typical scene, which usually involves other American guys, mostly from California too. So when a foreigner guy comes in it just kinda is different. It could work to your favor but the main problem is feeling comfortable with the Vegas vibe. It takes some getting use to but it's key to figuring out how chicks operate there as some many California chicks act like wild animals there even though back home they would be more reserved.

"everybody asks if I'm the manager or work at the place"

Interesting, I rarely if ever get that. Sometimes I get, "are you the owner?"

Although all of the above are not bad things, in my opinion.

"I went to the Spearmint Rhino (with Dusseldorf I might add) which was a first for me and a cool place. I did my homework and read up on Gs advice which served me well."

Good to hear.

bump

wondering how the rest of the trip went Vicious. Reason I'm asking is that this was quite a good writeup and I'm spending 5 nights in Vegas (with my 65 year old Dad of all people) and will be going out dolo, so am gonna try out all you and G's et al's tips and suggestions. I plan on working day game mostly but also doing the club scene a couple nights too (but hate the Vegas clubs really, been to them a lot too).

thx
