Toronto vs Montreal

Friends

I live in Toronto suburbs and have been reading about Montreal for some time in forums.

Not sure if you guys have come across this video ..some of the Montreal comments(girls approaching guys)..seem too good to be true(at least for someone living in Toronto)..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hWO7AIK...mA&index=1

Would like to hear from those who have experience with both cities..how much of this is true.

Thanks

The video makes you believe Montreal girls will often approach guys. They're clearly exaggerating. Women will mostly wait for men to make the first step, like pretty much anywhere in North America.

Montreal will have the most beautiful girls, and slimmer girls. Fat girls are really rare in Montreal. But feminism is growing stronger and stronger in Montreal, as we have seen during the "Battle of Montreal" this summer.

Montreal is way more fun than Toronto. Walking around in downtown Montreal in the spring/summer is amazing, girls dress extremely well, and there are plenty of festivals (good place for meeting girls).

Money wise, Toronto is clearly the best place for a single man (more well-paid jobs, and taxes are lower for a single man). Quebec is probably a better place for a family (because we have many free services), but it's not the best province to make money.

Montreal girls are more attractive and the competition (guys) is less attractive. But in actual practice, Toronto is better for cold approach gaming. Montreal is overhyped IMO - see my trip report. In the first 4 nights out back in Toronto I achieved more (a couple makeouts and a pull) than I did in 14 in Montreal.

I don't want to say it's "luck", but you can have on/off nights. Montreal shouldn't be talked about like it's this easy pussy mecca. It's alright, it's ok - but there are plenty better places in the world.

I found Montreal difficult. Was actually glad to leave.

How much French do you speak? I'm willing to bet that the majority of guys who don't like Montreal probably can't hold a conversation in French, being able to will dramatically change the way you experience the city.

I've lived all over the world. Currently living in MTL. It's a tough city for game. I'm more of a day gamer and girls are usually surprised to be approached in the day unlike places like Ukraine where it's very welcomed. I think because it's viewed as a bit strange the flake rate is really high. In the 4 months I've been here I've seen one day time approach. The ROI was so low that I quit daygaming and have been sticking to whatever scraps I get off Tinder. All other online game is useless unless you're an 8 or above in looks.

In the limited night game I've done I did see guys having some success. Really didn't put in much effort while out myself but I think it's doable. Rouge in particular seems like a good place for pick-up.

If you're fucking black girls here like I have been, wear a condom, seriously.

The video is dated, but still has value, and I try not to trust women dating videos to much but the people she spoke to for the most part were very candid.

You hear that girl in the video @ 2:40 talk mad shit on MTL girls. She sounds like she is from Ontario and is just tossing shade essentially saying that MTL girls just get drunk and be skanky.

When they roll back to Toronto the women give the typical female chicken talks (first girl was just talking the common scripted buzz themes).

Next, the group with that tall WNBA looking Jew girl all didn't know what they want. Just talking non-sense. Next, the Italy girl admits that she prefers Italian men aggressive game even after dismissing it first. Also of note is how much worse the Toronto women looked in general, way more frumpy/aged.

Cutest girl was the Korean broad with the Edmonton dude, Italian girl was hot but sounded like a horse.

As far as gaming goes.

Montreal is a challenge but I find it a more rewarding conquest versus the rock pull that is Toronto game. I don't mind the honest chase, some girls in Montreal took me for a ride with the chess games with game. I remember one girl who was Lebanese, Quebecois, and Chinese (I think it was that mix,hot as hell though) and me and her were going back and worth as I tried to work her down. I ended up botching it last minute when I got to forward with her and she didn't like it. But I did not feel any ill will from that interaction. I didn't get the swoop but it felt more like loosing to Golden State on the last play, I was in it till the end and it showed way more strength in my game versus a typical Toronto flame out where you even introduce yourself and the girl just babbles non-sense and opens up her phone.

I did not have many issues meeting women while I was in Montreal. They are different to game in that you have to be on cue of your surroundings as a girl might rove into your orbit and you have to go after it in that window. The challenge is that these girls want fun, excitement, a lot more character in a man. It isn't frowned upon to have swagger and party hard there. I had my best success when I was having a good time in bar and getting girls into that mix.

I guess in the end the video makes very simple assessments which are true. Toronto is more cold, Montreal is more warm. Montreal is a challenge in that you have to use different methods to get what you want but it is much more rewarding.

I find the biggest issue in Montreal is that there are so many wack Toronto women there and you can mistake their comfortable vibe (since its what you are used to here) as being more inviting. But they just waste time from you talking to hot French women. Every night I was out I ran into Toronto women, it was nuts.

Nice analysis.

I stumbled upon Roosh's 2012 video here on Montreal, today.
It appears that his initial assessment was also on similar lines that1.women are better looking, 2.they give eye contatcts.

I am planning a week in Montreal around Christmas..to test it out.

I am sure there is not much to lose in Toronto anyway..

Any question about Montreal feel free to ask..it's not an easy city for game as a foreigner but by joining social circles and going to the right places results can be good.

I live in Toronto but I am originally Québécois and let me just say that girls over there are the same as in Ontario and always have been when it comes to feminism. At least since we had our Révolution Tranquille. However, the big difference, which seems to be the huge difference for you guys, is the views on sex. In Ontario, women view sex as their main value, so they withhold it from men to torture, control and dominate them. In Québec, girls are highly sexual. Over there you can hook up with gorgeous women, way out of your league. This is not fiction. This is totally doable for any man. The problem is that women in Québec are extremely dominant and will expect you to be the woman in the relationship and castrate you in every way possible. Trust me. It is not worth your trouble. A lot of women dont even let men drive their own cars, and a lot of men have to put up with infidelity. Most people dont know this but in Québec most guys have to quietly accept the fact their girlfriends are cheating on them. Women from Québec do not have much respect for men. So if sex is all you are looking for, yes, Montréal and the whole province will be heaven for you (if you speak French) but if you are looking to commit, to settle down and build a family where you are treated as the man, forget it, move to another country. There must be a reason why the province of Québec has the highest male suicide rate in the world.

Montreal has changed and continues to change with more feminist dominance. Montreal women are no longer easy to hook up to. They show more feminist attitudes. They are now very demanding and do all kind of shite tests on guys. They really feel they are superior to men just like TO women do.

Montreal has always been a feminist city.

If anything social movements grew out of that place as a resistance to the heavy hand of the Church in culture. It has always been in the fabric of that place, it isn't t anything new.

I don't view a rise in feminist activity in the city, the city has already been a cease pool of it, they are just of the older 2nd wave guard versus the more obnoxious brand that is present in Toronto. That is the difference.

Toronto is much more 3rd wave and has the seeds for the more radical 4th wave that is dominant in Toronto institutions.

Montreal feminism is largely still pumped out from the Anglo institutions like McGill and Concordia which is packed full of Toronto women anyway. You don't see the Francaphone institutions parading that non-sense all that much.

There is a big difference between Montreal and the rest of Quebec. I'd almost say bigger than Toronto vs the rest of Ontario. The most obvious one is the Bloc/Separatist movement, which has little to no traction in Montreal, but the cultural roots it sprang from go back hundreds of years of almost xenophobia & deep Catholic roots.

Whereas Montreal, like every other big international port city in the world, developed into a more cosmopolitan laid back place.

Toronto being the toxic cancer that it is infects not just visitors, but especially its residents. If you've hardly experienced life outside Toronto, you'll hate Montreal, and frankly be better off just hitting Cancun or Miami for a week than wasting your time in Montreal.

If you recognize Toronto as the shithole it is, where fun goes to die, but you're saddled with a Canadian passport, then Montreal can become an oasis in an otherwise bland & bleak country on the slide.

I have been living in Toronto for past one and half years. I have lived in three other countries prior to moving here.

What I'm getting from that quote is that Toronto feminazis withhold sex from men (yet the same feminazis pose naked around little kids, female teachers sexually abusing kids, etc) but the Montreal feminazis are sexually liberated.

Isn't the Montreal sexual liberation supposed to be a good thing for us? Easier to game and easy to sex?

It makes no sense for a Toronto feminazi to hate on all men, withhold her sexuality to men, and then one day somebody finds out that the same feminazi was allowing several of her underaged students to bang her doggy style during detention.

Game in Montreal will help men..Toronto prudish feminazis do not help anyone!

I lived in Montreal from August to Dec 2014 and found the nightlife to be very slim pickins if you are going for high 7 to 8+ range. The pretty impressive quality you see during the day seemed very under represented at night which may be somewhat solved during the festivals/events of the warmest months. I agree with the sentiment that with good/advanced French and social circles there is definitely potential, but that's a pretty big commitment.
