How many days to spend in Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen?

I'm so jealous of your trip! I would definitely pipeline with Tinder and OKcupid for Hong Kong, you should be able to set up a nice date for each night of your trip there. It will take about a week to get it all sorted so make sure to do it before you go. Set the dates up for after dinner drinks so you have time to hit the town, with or without them, after. I've banged local HK girls who were 9/10, 8's are achievable and 7's are easy. Just pipeline, pipeline, pipeline and have it all lined up with backups before you go, I've had girls take me to all sorts of cool bars on dates that I would have never seen otherwise. Hong Kong is the best first world tinder city so it's not that hard. Online game is mostly a waste of time for Shenzhen and Macau but the pulling a ONS from a club or bar is easier in Shenzhen than Hong Kong. Coco Park is the most western friendly club area in Shenzhen but is only really popping on weekends. Macau is weird but is 100% worth seeing when you are so close.
When I go to Hong Kong I always eat at these restaurants; http://www.thejournal.ie/worlds-cheapest...1-Feb2013/ If you make it on time on the Wednesday check out the Happy Valley Race Course for a good night of gambling and drinks!
In Shenzhen, make sure to check out the Queen Spa in Luohu, for a relaxing hangover day. The electronics market, also in Luohu, is worth a look as well.

Thanks for the advice, mate - you seem to know what you're talking about. Especially that restaurant looks extremely cool. I'll make sure to check it out!

And you're right, Tinder has been working well for me so far. Actually I am all booked out by now. It's a real shame I won't be there for too long!

No problem. A good idea, if you are a bit sneaky, is to tell the girls you are in HK for a job interview. It gives them a sense of not banging a random tourist and is still non committal for the long term. It also makes them think you are not on a banging Asian chicks vacation!

If you are on a bad run, check this out on Sunday in Hong Kong: http://www.stickmanbangkok.com/ReadersSu...er7450.htm
It has mixed reviews here but is a guaranteed lay.

How many days to spend in Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen?

I just went to Hong Kong, Wan Chai area on a Sunday night about 3 weeks ago. The legends are true. The party starts at like 3pm and goes on all night. I'm a decent looking white guy in my 20's and I literally had to fight off the filipinas as they were grabbing my man parts.

You can rent an air bnb in the area for relatively cheap for pulling. Probably will cost you ~20usd, worth it 100%

I went to a place Hong Kong Cafe after predrinking at around 4pm. The place was full of asian women and a couple older sexpats. If you're a younger guy and decently fit then you are the equivalent of a 10 in this place. I'd recommend pre drinking as drinks here are pretty expensive (8 usd a beer)

Like 70% of the women aren't too attractive, they look like older philipina nannys, because they are [Image: tongue.gif] the other 30% are really cute younger women who are all HAPPY to talk to you and party.

This is the only place i've been where dance floor game works really, really well as all the women want to party. If you have a good buzz hop on the dance floor, pull some retarded dance moves, grab some nearby women, and have a real fun time.[Image: tard.gif]

A friend and I ended up pulling a pair of sexy philipinas back to our airbnb which was a 7 min walk from the bar. Pretty sure they were semi pros taking the night off. A bit of craziness happened with the women, including an attempted 3some, but in the end a friend and I got laid. Another friend pulled a milfy chinese lady from tinder back to our place and got a bang too.

If you lower your standards you will 100% get laid here as the nanny looking women are too easy. However if you have decent game you can pull a real cutie with ease.

My only regret is not staying in Hong Kong for another week so I could do Wan Chai sundays a second time [Image: smile.gif]

Got to second (or is it third?) the entire concept of Macau - I don't get it. It's like Vegas with Chinese people, humidity and no strip. It's not worth more than a day (or perhaps an overnight) at most. I went to the older section of town which kinda sorta reminded me of Boat Quay in Singapore, but much smaller. Worth a look if you're headed there.

If you like to play poker as I do, the casinos have plenty of tables. But watch it before you sit down - notice there's probably nobody drinking, and they are all damn good players. There was a tournament going on when I was there so maybe the situation was skewed, but it wasn't the usual let's-go-take-money-from-the-drunk-Guido game you can find at Vegas or any big US casino. Tread carefully.

There were tons of hookers all over the place outside, but not so much inside the casinos - they're probably there, but much better behaved. The rates for the hotels aren't bad, but for a younger guy just looking to party, there's better options in HK.

HK is stupidly expensive to live and work but surprisingly affordable for people living the AirBnB thing, and I was very glad to see Uber works there too. You can get a black car, during a 2x surge, for less than you get an UberX in San Francisco, no joke. All kinds of food in any direction, at all kinds of prices. I was in town for too short a time and too much working at odd hours to take in the night life, but there's no shortage of it. The heat this time of year sucks, but the bonus is seeing all those young legs in short shorts.

Good. Lord.

Anyway, this is my third time to HK, first time to Macau and still not yet been on the mainland. Not sure how it works for a fit older guy (late 40s) but will see one day. Thanks again for the data, guys.

Any updates on how the trip went PBX?
I played a fair bit of poker in Macau in 2012 when I lived in Shenzhen, $10/20 games were near impossible to find and then getting a seat was harder, so you get a real mix sitting at the $20/50 games. There was a number of times where I was sat at a $20/50 table with someone who genuinely didn't know the rules of poker, I've never seen that at a 2/5 table elsewhere, even in Vegas. Saying that there were some excellent players there too. I've never seen such a broad spectrum of skill on the same blind level.

How many days to spend in Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen?

Sorry guys - I was going to write sooner but I have been very busy with work lately!

The trip was really amazing and I think everyone should visit Hong Kong at least once in their lives. Great city with lots of things to do. Open and friendly people. The culture is a fascinating fusion between Asia and the West. Great dining culture. The quality (and quantity!) of girls is also pretty amazing.

As for Macao - I do recommend you go there for a day and maybe also a night. It might not be the best place to pick up girls (although you surely could), but the fusion between Portuguese culture and Chinese culture was very interesting. And then there are the casinos as well. If you are into gambling or just want to see a place that kind of resembles Las Vegas.

As far as girls are concerned, I had a really good time and it was also very easy. Just fired up Tinder a few days before I went there and during the first 2 days I was in the city. Could have went on 3-4 dates per night with Tinder girls alone, but I decided to just stick with two really cool girls I met on my 2nd and 3rd day. Also went out with one of the girls on a Saturday night. We started at a place called Ozone Bar which is the highest bar in the world. Paid about 20 $ per cocktail, but it was worth it.

After that I don't remember much but we did end up in some kind of super-posh club drinking champagne with some super-rich teenagers that probably had their parents' credit cards for the night. Haha it was madness!

Thanks to everyone who shared their advice with me before I went to Hong Kong!

Would have loved to go but unfortunately ran out of time towards the end. I am planning to visit Hong Kong again in May or June for 3 weeks at least and then I surely will get the chance to go to Shenzhen as well!

How many days to spend in Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen?

I had 1 week in Hong Kong in mid August so just want to reiterate a lot of what has been posted.

I found it a great place to visit. At times it felt like crazy Asia, especially in Kowloon and at other times more like a Western city.

Maids day is something to behold. There are literally thousands of them set up in the public space around Wan Chai on a Sunday. I had a couple of beers at a couple of the bars on Lockhart Road and is definitely worth a visit just for the circus alone.

LKF is also something to experience. There's a great vibe in the street and also in the surrounding areas there are several Craft beer bars which I am into. Shout out to Suits and others who have recommended grabbing beers from the 7/11 and just stay on the street, everyone is having a good time

Accommodation- I rented a bedroom in an apartment and I had my own bathroom. It was about $80US a night and right near Causeway Bay MRT station. Great location, unfortunately the races at Happy Valley were out of season.

Public Transport was great. I caught trains, trams and public buses and easy using the Octupus card. I didn't use taxis so cant comment. I walked a lot as well, 20,000+ steps a day and the infrastructure was good so it was easy to do.

Food- I frequented as many Cooked food centres as I could which was great, although there are high level restaurants for any budget. They're are similar to the hawker centres in Singapore but off the street, like a food court. I went to Bowrington Road, Java Road at North Point, Wo Chi Estate at Sha Tin, Wong Nai Chung at Happy Valley, Tai Po Hui in the New Territories 9 I think). All great and good value for money

I considered going to Macau for a day trip but just ran a day or 2 short, so cant comment on that.

I didn't game but could see the advantages and appeal of Hong Kong. If you had the opportunity to move there with a well paying job I would definitely give it a go. People move fast, such a busy place so your game has to be tight to do well with high calibre girls, but that's the same in any big city. Guys dress well despite the heat.

I saw some stunning girls, especially local and some classic European types with legs up to their neck. Still an unfortunate representation of sloppy Western girls. One day I had a brief conversation with a couple just moved there. He was English and was there to make the $$ and he had brought along his at Western girlfriend ( a 4 at best) who had no plans to work. Nice enough couple but wanted to slap him and tell him to wake up.

Did you feel that the high caliber girls were mainly looking for money guys? Since it is such a materialistic city.l and you do see a lot of girls dressed in designer dresses and having channel bags.

It depends. Some do, some don't. It is certainly not the case that 8+ women are unavailable for guys earning less than $100k a year.

You're right, Its definitely materialistic and the religion is money, but what place isn't nowadays.

As many on this forum have shown you don't need to be a massive money man to have success there and have a good time.

It's chilly but not cold, on most days you will be ok without a coat.

In general, no.

Ho Hung Kee, Tim Ho Wan and Pang's Kitchen are the big three that I always hit up. You can get an excellent quality Cantonese meal in all three of those locations for under $15. I like the happy hour in Champs bar under the Charterhouse hotel, I think it's 2 for 1 drinks (on everything) until 8pm or 9pm. It's a good place to grab a bite to eat and relax with a few beers before going out.

First night in HK got off the plane after the 12hr flight...

Point to note - Get an octopuscard useful when traveling on the MTR. Which is a cheap way to get around the city.

Went out in LKF, spent all night there drinking and chatting to local girls. Went to bungalow (Prive) v loud music youngish crowd, hard to talk in there mainly dancefloor game. Quite a few expats around, quality was pretty poor. Then bounced to Dragon-I which is nearby and is a moneyed crowd, plenty of tall euro girls (models/prostitutes?) and HK Finance crowd. Got approached by 2 hot Venezualan girls great tits, short skirts, was making small talk and lots of flirting. Didn't realise they were on the game. Dropped them like a hot potato, gonna go out tonight see what happens.
