Smart Watches: Why?

Tech jewelry or a plane ticket to meet a forum member or do solo gaming outside the home town.
Easy choice.

Smart Watches: Why?

I have an Apple Watch (the $350 version). It's cool, it makes some things more convenient, and otherwise I was not usually wearing a watch. I have a high end watch as well, but women don't give a shit, as was pointed out. Unless it's a Rolex, they don't know anything about watches.
If dropping $350 on a gadget is going to make you think at all, then you probably shouldn't do it. The next version will be better for sure. I plan on selling mine before the 2nd one comes out, and one of the benefits of Apple stuff is the good re-sale value, although with Apple Watch not sure how it will be.
I also like it that not everyone has one; they are way less common than iPhones.

This is another fad to me. I have a few friends who bought the iWatch and they talk about it like they discovered the pyramids. We now have bunch of people who think talking to their wrist makes them cool.
Hell, maybe I'm old school. I still think Razor flip phones are the shit.
If it doesn't fit, force it... If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.
