Symmetric Strength - web analysis of your strengths vs standards

I posted this in the Lifters Lounge but maybe it deserves its own thread.

http://symmetricstrength.com

It extends the old strength standard one (there's a thread here about it) and adds a few other categories (Exceptional, World Level, below Novice).

There are a few new exercises: the deadlift is split into conventional and sumo (good idea!), front squat, incline bench, weighted dips, weighted pull-ups.

There's also a muscle map telling you which area is lagging (educated guesses, not necessary correct for your particular situation). The visualisation is pretty cool.

If you compete in powerlifting, it also gives you prediction on your total and Wilks score. It looks quite reasonable.

I score Exceptional and Elite for my squats and deadlifts, but presses let me down so overall score is Advanced (90.7).

Apparently muscle-wise, I have 'Intermediate' (aka 'Mediocre') chest and 'Exceptional' ass (among other exceptional bits and pieces). [Image: banana.gif]

Overall, a very well-done site for basic strength and muscle analysis.

That's a great site. Interesting data, and a clear, non cluttered design for itself.

Really like the site, always good to see how I stack up against standards like this. It's a good way to set goals. So excited to be consistent in the gym over the next few months and improve my strength and physique! Consistency and patience really are key, and i think this site helps that sink in.
