What is best to off-set Saw Palmetto possible sexual side effects?

I am considering taking Saw Palmetto for the slowing down of hair loss. I read on this forum of the rumors that this can decrease one's libido. What additional 1-2 supplements can I take that that will increase my libido. The goal here is to keep things balanced. I don't like taking too many pills, so I'd rather only take 1-2 possible options to offset the possible negative Saw Palmetto effects.

Thanks

Try it out yourself.

It is a medicinal plant with massive positive reactions. You can counter loss of libido by taking a good high multi, higher doses of zinc (50-100mg per day) and herbs like Ecklonia Cava.

I would not take WebMD's statement of side-effects seriously. But it is true that some medicinal herbs are not for daily consumption, so you may have to put breaks in between - also MDs who are herbalists do advise taking medicinal herbs intermittently.

Would be interesting how it goes. Let us know.

I take Saw Palmetto for the same reason and I've been taking 60mg of Zinc Citrate (take with Copper) and 800mg of Magnesium Citrate daily to try and combat any possible side effects. My libido is exactly the same as before, but that could also be because I am in my early 20s.

I found my sex drive increased after taking it

Agreed. However, I believe that this increase is due more to full body lifting heavy 3 days a week and solid cardio on alternating days. Weightlifting seems to be a sufficient counterbalance to saw palmetto, but I actually take it to block the DHT conversion while still making great gains.
