I think the issue is we all have a different scale, and standards. I think 1-10 is to large of a spread (should be a 1-5 scale IMO)

That first statement is very true, I agree with that, it can be.

But I don't turn down average girls because of ego, I go for better because I'm aware of my SMV and that I can get better quality with just a little more effort, or sometimes no more effort.

You have to remember that not everyone in the "game" community follows the "a bang is a bang" philosophy. For me it's not even so much about whether someone would bang a 5 or not. (I would/do) In my experience the guys who are vehemently opposed and outspoken about banging 5's are the biggest cock blocks.

That's what I consider a 6 just an average girl, so when someone says to me a girl is a 5 I imagine she's going to be unattractive.

Recently I only do daygame so I don't even register or chase down unattractive girls on the street. In the club it's a little different, you can get beer goggles, and you may see a five giving you some looks and take it as an easy option.
