Two words: immigration fraud.
I don't think it will be of much use in immigration, because the USCIS doesn't lend much weight to marriage certificates. They require much more solid proof of an actual relationship (joint accounts, travel, etc.).
How hard would this really be to get around? Meet up with your buddy in another country, set up a joint account called beer and stripper funds. Travel together a few times and then get hetero-gay married. Even better if both countries have gay marriage because then you both could potentially get citizenships out of the deal. Live together in the same apartment for awhile and then divorce. Rinse and repeat.
Actually not a bad idea now that I think about it. A lot of men on this forum have asked about residency in Europe. They may find it easier to make an arrangement with a fellow forum member from Spain or France.
Yep, that is what I was thinking.
Even if they do scrutinize you, how hard would it really be to get around. Put together a joint bank account and call it beer money, grocery money, and rent. Put together a form showing that the bro immigrating will pay reduced rent in exchange for doing the grocery shopping, 60% of the cleaning, and 80% of the cooking with an itemized schedule. Marry and immigrate, live as room mates and wingmen for three or four months in Europe or South America or something.
Then move to the USA and reverse the living schedule giving your new bro-husband reduced rent in exchange for doing some grocery shopping and cooking. He ends up with American citizenship after living in America for a few months or how ever long and you end up with foreign citizenship in his country and you both get a long vacation and gaming.
Hell, even if they only allow one or two marriage visas and divorces, like one poster said up stream, then simply wait for poly-marriage to become legal here in America, and other countries too, and you and your bro-husband can marry another forum member who wants American/other citizenship who lives in a country that you and your bro-husband want citizenship in.
I wonder how many citizenships you could collect in this matter over the course of five or six years? Lol.
Women these days think they can shop for a man like they shop for a purse or a pair of shoes. Sorry ladies. It doesn't work that way.
Women are like sandwiches. All men love sandwiches. That's a given. But sandwiches are only good when they're fresh. Nobody wants a day old sandwich. The bread is all soggy and the meat is spoiled.
