It can't be their sex because sex with celebrities is just like sex with anyone else, the red carpet doesn't confer magical properties to vaginas.
My thought exactly. Sounds like too much work for the same pussy. But I guess for some guys her status is important for some reasons. Well, to each their own.
Probably for bragging rights. Male groupies. Me, myself, I wouldn't mind banging Scarlett Johnson, Anna Kournikova and I still have a fat thing for Juliette Lewis.

Might go back to what you said in another thread recently(I forget which one now, might have been the Poland thread) about how guys don't count "scores" as commonly in many parts of Eastern Europe. You'll take a girl home and other guys aren't going to make a point to ask "how'd you do? how was it? did you get it? etc" the next day.
In the US, bragging rights matter a lot more to guys it seems, which is why bagging a celebrity is a bigger deal. guys here actually want to know your score, and there's more incentive to try impressing them.

No, I don't think it is useful for bragging. If the celebrity has even a tiny bit of brain, it is VERY unlikely a dude would have anything to back up his claims. In the best case nobody would believe him if he mentions the name. In the worst case he might get a lawsuit (in US or Western Europe), or one chance to learn how to live underwater with cement shoes (Russia, Asia). So this is something I can't even imagine someone bragging about.
If not for the bragging rights, then perhaps for the ego.

I don't bang/game celebs for braggin rights; they do not inflate my ego at all.
However, when I bang a female law-enforcement officer (especially detectives)....my head cannot fit through the door. Especially inflated ego if she is high ranking law-enforcement like FBI or Lead Homicide Detective.....I love being dominated by these women in bed.

Meeting a celeb in rehab was a good way. A friend of mine pulled that off, though with celebs now going to Celebrity Rehab, the days for that are probably over.

Here's one. I discovered an underground singer from Washington the other day who actually has real nice, relaxing music. She had a show here the other day, but I missed it. She is the liberal artsy type. I sent her an e-mail asking about the cd and mentioned that "I usually hate female singers, but you sound real nice and relaxing". She gave me some info about buying it when it's released, but I'm trying to think of how to twist it so I can get her number or something.....would be nice to fuck a mini celebrity if I ever make it to Washington.

I'd start talking to her about the music scene where she is. Tell her you might be visiting WA soon and love seeing live shows, and maybe she'd be interested in being your "tour guide".

Oh shit guys! I was doing research on IMDB for ppl to send music to when I checked out a girl who I had fingered two years ago when she first moved to LA. Well fuck me, it turns out she's going to be on an upcoming TV series that's pretty damn popular!
Unfortunately, she wants nothing to do with me haha. At the time, she had a boyfriend so she might still be with him so who knows if that's part of it but just goes to show you should try to remain on good terms with everyone as you never know if they can help you in future.
Out of respect to her, I won't say the TV show name but it's the continuation of a show that was massively popular a few years back.

There was a girl at Ralphs on Sunset, looked like Lana Del Rey, but wasn't.
If was the real Lana, I would have bought her a pepsi.

Some solid insight in this thread. A good introduction (ideally being introduced by someone with some valid context or sharing a similar environment in which you establish yourself - maybe a banquet etc..) and prolonged propinquity is all it should take. I can't imagine cold approach would work though.
If the average Rooshv member were seated next to Beyoncé at a gala dinner for 3 hours he would definitely pique her interests at the very least. Celebrities for the most part are insecure. Any man of substance who maintains frame is in with a shit if he meets her in an appropriate setting and given sufficient time - no different to any other women to be honest.
I've had zero experience with celebrities though there's a popular anecdote told by a few of my friends about an acquaintance of mine. Late 20s 4th generation Indian academic on sabbatical in Mumbai. Dude rents an apartment directly opposite the apartment of a then 19 year old B/C-grade Bollywood actress (she is apparently now one of the highest paid actresses in Bollywood).
To this day she apparently messages/phones him almost everyday to chat and invites him on holidays etc. -despite him being married. Dude says he never banged because she's psycho but word is she behaves like a complete beta male towards him (according to a guy who met them together).
I should mention the guy is pretty handsome(probably handsomest Indian I've seen), pretty sharp and charismatic (may even have exotic appeal as he speaks no Indian language, knows nothing about Indian culture and is basically white in all else but race).
At the end of the day celebs are just people, very damaged people. Your chances of LTRing a celeb are very low though.

Go to high school with her.
You will always be that cool senior who barely noticed her, no matter how famous she gets.
I know a guy who was still getting calls from a huge, but not hot, celeb years later because no matter how much she made, she was still that freshman girl hiding in the library hoping he would smile at her.

I've dated celebs. Carry yourself well and stand out from the throngs of orbiters and sugar daddies.
It's about access. Get to a place in your life where meeting celebrities isn't an uncommon thing. Max out your attractive qualities and body language. Be bold and approach.
Truth is we are all going to die one day and dust is dust no matter how famous you are.

A younger me would've loved the idea of banging a celeb. Now I couldn't care less and in fact prefer girls who are less successful and more appreciative of my efforts.
I suspect the idea an coolness factor of banging a celeb probably cools off as you age.
With that said it's all about access.

Most celebs have a temporary window of fame before they fade into oblivion. There are plenty of B-C list actresses in their late 20s whom I think would be fairly easy to game. Once their career starts to taper off they face a cold drop into reality anyways. Once they cross 30 who fuckin cares. I don't see how their frame would even seem superior to yours since they might be in some shitty movie you haven't heard of.
I like the lady tennis players a lot though, I'd go for one of them over an actress any day. Tons of those 19-26 with tight ass bodies who are only marginally famous, if you can even call it fame, outside tennis most don't know who they are. It'd be dope as shit to be banging a girl pro tennis player.
A girl from my hometown was a model in the Howie day video (the guy that sings 'you and I collide). She dated him, fred durst, chris kattan, basically got ran through by has-beens who aren't even famous anymore. Now she's used up in her 30s with god-knows how many stds. Being allured by fame is a stupid female trait.

If you can't tell anyone about a stupid celebrity why don't you just put your energy into banging other (hotter) chicks? I'm getting the vibe that it's another type of challenge here, but this seems like a role reversal --- caring about "celebrity" is a woman's trait.
