Despite all the man on man action in Rome, gay marriage was not recognized legally. Rather marriage was seen as vehicle for fulling one of the duties a citizen had which was producing offspring.

In Sparta, gay relationships were typically between a man and a younger boy. Once the younger boy got older his love would actually assist in finding a wife for him. I bring this up to illustrate that even in these societies were homosexual behavior was out in the open homosexual marriage was still NOT the norm since a lot of these LGBT activists like to point at ancient Rome and Greece as evidence for their cause. Even these cultures recognized that the essential nature of heterosexual marriages was very different from a relationship between two gay lovers.

I remember this article from the original thread. I hadn't read it before, but it is somewhat sobering that the world isn't going to shit tomorrow when you get some details

1. This chick is messed in the head already due to her dad going awol at age 4 or 5 and her mom being crazy
2. She mentions specifically that she never really bonded with her dad before he left.

So, later on her dad comes back into her life when she's a horny teenager and she has no solid background to distinguish a family bond from a relationship bond so she goes all over the top teenage infatuation on her dad...and her dad lets it happen/encourages it. For a rare occasion, this whole fucked up situation is all on her Dad. She was so pumped up to finally have a solid family member in her life that if he just stopped this perversion she would have followed in that direction as well.

If there is anything to be gained besides disgust from this article, its an excellent insight into the mind of the 'daddy issue' type of girl. I mean this chick is so literal I bet Freud has been reanimated and his crawling out of his grave to diagnose her right now.

It's pretty similar to all the trans stuff you see now. If I want to use a woman's locker room I could just claim that I'm a trans-woman that doesn't have the money for the hormones and surgery at the moment. How would they make sure that I'm "real"? A big argument trans advocates throw up are how brain scans show that trans people have similar brain patterns as those of the gender they think they have (but wait wouldn't that means there are hardwired sexual differences beyond physical strength? Take note feminists) Are we going to start requiring brain scans be done every time a trans person wants to say join the Boy Scouts when it was born female to make sure he's legit?
