Also certain location of Tim Hortons in Canada started banning it. I also think that their server suspended my IP address because of it but I'm not sure and don't care enough to call for that.

It's not a big deal, it's not like you can't access RVF via anonymous browsing sites, when I was a kid and they enforced internet address filters at school, there were plenty of ways to get around it.

Anonymous browsers and search engines to begin with....or just use your LTE lol.

In high school we used Google Africa to get on the blocked game sites during study hall.

I prefer to stay unplugged in public.

At the mall last night, two young, fit guys to my right walking along, eyes glued to their mobile phones.

Ahead of me, slightly to the left, a petite 9 with long black hair halfway down her back, wearing lime green yoga pants, with an arse like two overripe cantaloupes, hypnotising in their movement, and I say this as more of a tit man.

Me planning the swoop, but watching the young bucks for signs of AMOG competition whilst trying to wait out my awkward and obvious boner. Why didn't I tuck him under my belt after I got off the bike?

They kept walking, never even registering her, barely-interacting with each other.

I see this kind of thing all the time. Society is doomed.

(Fun chat: sure, I struck out, but at least I stepped up to bat. Hell, at least I was aware the game was even on).

^ Maybe in a club or pub, but nowhere near like 30 years back. As much as we laugh at Bitches and their Phones, young blokes are getting just as bad. I'm seeing more and more disconnection in public spaces.

I can't remember all the places it has been blocked.

However I have seen the forum and the RoK website blocked on various networks. I believe they are both blocked on the Clean Harbor's company network. However this probably is less due to content and more due to the company blocking any website it believes wastes time.

This really is infuriating. I had the same experience once at an airport. I tried to log into the forum while waiting for a flight and found out that the site was blocked. Absolutely ridiculous. Strangely, ROK was not blocked, but the forum was. Makes no sense at all.
The problem is that there are so many wusses, idiots, and chickenshits out there; all it takes is for one worthless sack of shit to complain, and everyone loses their minds.

No, it makes a lot of sense. Whole Foods doesn't want to get sued by some parent because their teenager got on their WIFI and could access porn or if someone in their store saw the porn on another customer's tablet that was accessed over Whole Food's WIFI. Whole Foods doesn't want to get branded as a place that allows porn over their free WIFI so they employ a popular block list.

Same thing with the airport. They are a business too.

ROK doesn't have porn on it.

RvF does.

Simple.

It could be that. But just as likely, it is agenda driven. We don't know. I would hope that they would admit it if asked. Unlike Amtrak, which blocks the Drudge Report and other conservative but mainstream news sites. I emailed them about this and got a lot of pablum puke about how they didn't block Drudge, it must've been the servers were busy, blah blah blah. But I ride Amtrak ALL the time and EVERY time it is blocked immediately, even when every other site pops up in seconds. Googling reveals that many others have observed this as well. I kind of resent this, because Amtrak ISN'T a private company...it's funded my your and my tax dollars. And Drudge is of course critical of government in general, and occasionally of Amtrak. But a gov't sponsored entity blocking sites whose politics they disagree with seems seedy to me. It seems like something Putin would do...maybe we should call it RusTrak :/

Two words for you - Hotspot Shield. Turn it on when you get the block and you'll get around it just fine.

RVF was blocked at a Hostel I stayed at once in Valpairaso, Chile. It was listed under Porn/Inappropriate Content by the administrator.

The block lists are usually made by third parties (outside companies). They make a huge list and deploy it to their clients. So it's not like a specific company like Whole Foods has actually made an assessment of the forum.
